No matter if they have responded to our weekly prompt, or posted on their own topics, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate thoughtfulness on chain! We hope you will consider taking the time to check their writing out and support their work! You may even make a new friend. ✌️

Today in thoughtfulness....jpg

Weighted Bonds by @olujay

I needed a place to stay for at least two weeks. My school would oddly only allocate rooms on campus to students weeks after the resumption date. There was hardly anyone that could take me in for that long other than an old friend back in secondary school. Took me in and treated me like a brother. The interesting thing was that we weren't even all that close back then

Forever home by @becca-mac

I love going home after being away for a period of time; I always get the feeling of belonging, comfort and a sense of contentment. It's one of the joys of going away, travelling abroad or away from home for any length of time the homecoming. It's a little bit the same when I go home to the small town I think of as my true home, where I was born; I feel in place when I do even though it has changed from when I lived there. I took this image It's not a big place, even now, and most people know each other; there's gossip and people get involved with each other's business but that's a small town through and through I suppose and I'd rather that than have many thousands of people around I don't know and who don't care. People say hello in the street, they have time to stop and talk and they help each other because they want to; it's something I don't find in the city where people seem so caught up in their own lives they don't seem to care about those around them

Sawdust by @riverflows

When I saw him yesterday he wasn't really talking. He was playing with the pills on the table, lining them up in rows. He had been refusing to take them. His mouth is very dry. It's hard to swallow

Being delulu is the only solulu by @b0s

How I look writing this The world is changing rapidly, a couple of years ago there was no such thing as digital currency or blockchain, a couple of years before that there was no such thing as Artificial Intelligence. If you had told the common folk at the time that such things would exist, they'd look at you like you were a crazy person, but here we are today, I am sitting in front of my laptop writing on a blogging site on a blockchain, where I can earn digital currency if investors find my work interesting enough. Crazy right? To you, it may not seem crazy, but to someone from the past, if I told them this, they'd look at me and go, "What is a laptop"? The average man only sees what is in front of them and not what could be in front of them

My family, the plurality heterogeneous that harmonizes || Thoughtful Thursday Prompt # 13 [ENG-ESP] by @marilour

My family, the plurality heterogeneous that harmonizes Another reflective week arrives and the team of presents us with the following idiom: ... “Blood is thicker than water”... words that in their conjunction, manifest the diversity of interpretative approaches, for their accentuated communicational power, a whole proposition that in its genesis intentionally stimulates the inquiry in a potpourri of disquisitions, with freedom to associate them or not, to our experiences. It is an invitation to a discursive gathering, to keep us in tune, exercising our thinking and introversion. It translates once again the vital sustenance of the meetings in this community, by unveiling the exquisite of collective reflection, making the exchange of experiences enriching and fruitful, perhaps contributing necessary words to their authors or contributing to group solutions, by encouraging the discourse of feedback and without fear of doubt of transformation, because in the experiential commutation, our looks are nourished and our steps are toned, to retake paths or to follow the light of the nascent ones

What a week this has been! by @kenechukwu97

issue. I got more than a fair share of both. Lastly, what can I do to get a premium sub on Twitter? I've already tried a lot of options and I'm yet to find the option that offers the best subscription alternative for someone in Nigeria. If you know of anyone, please let me know about that

Thoughtful Thursday Prompt #13rompt[Eng/Esp] by @mercmarg

Best regards “Blood is thicker than water”.... An idiom that, in a nutshell, means that our personal relationships and the things we do are less important than family. Do you agree? If not... If you agree, how has this phrase made you reflect on your family relationships?

Bridge the gap by @ozd

Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗 It's easy for us to get angry and hurt at our friends or loved ones when they don't reach out, mostly during our tough moment and when we needed someone to talk to, then we interpret their silence as neglect. We tend to forget that they might also be going through something worse than what we are going through

Life is in the blood. by @ijebest

This has been a historic idiom known and intentionally practiced in my culture which has also been internalized as a serious tradition in my family. "Blood is thicker than water" An idiomatic phrase! Even the holy book says, "For the life of the flesh, is in the blood " For me, this word is confirming this idiomatic phrase. "Blood is thicker than water" From childhood till whichever ages i and my siblings might be now, my parents had always emphasised on this very particular phrase. It has been planted into our hearts and characters as siblings

They Don't Have A Choice; They Can't Throw You Away Because You Are One Of Them by @phyna

If we don't love our family, it may be difficult to genuinely love others. This is because family is the first relationship we have; they are the first people we see, love, and look up to as we grow. It is where we feel secure and protected because we come from the same root, share the same name, and experience the same joys and sorrows. These moments of joy and sorrow help create a stronger bond through memories. When things are challenging and you see certain people stand by you, sharing in your pains, there's comfort, love, and a reason to keep going
