Hello fellow Hivians!
With my previous giveaway wrapped up its now time to announce the winner and kick off a new one.
One thing to note, I had to remove quite a few entries this round that didn't meet the giveaway requirements. In addition to supporting this community via the giveaway itself I also want to see engagement which is the reason behind the prompt.
On another note, we recently found out Chaos Packs will be added to the reward pool soon! I'm personally excited and can't wait to pull my first pack. If you are interested to learn more check out my post where I've gone through the math on how long it will take you to pull a pack on average based on your league.

i am happy they added them to the rewards, though i am cynical and think that they expected the general sale to get sold out fast so they didnt add them in the first instance for greedy, now they see the sales are slow, people kinda lost the fomo for the game, so they attempt to revamp it with this addition
Gotta say I agree with you. I think packs aren't selling anywhere near what they expected and this is now their way of addressing the card scarcity issue which is currently driving prices to oblivion.

Chaos Legion Packs will be a great addition to the possible rewards from chest. This will definitely encourage more players to move to a higher league.

Having a Chaos Legion packs in the reward chest will give all players the chance to open Chaos Legion packs and recieve legendary cards from it. That is awesome.

Why would it though? They are not going to be new packs, still out of the 15M that exist. That said, if there wasn't demand for those 15M as is, this will indeed cut whatever demand would be left over. At least in my opinion.

I'm down for it, cause majority of will go to bots, even if it's low chance but they have hundreds that's still a big chance daily. I might be wrong though. I'll still love to receive it though.
Chaos Legion packs in reward chest will be a great addition. It will invite more players to play again even though the DEC rewards are too low at the moment.

Seems like a good way to incentive people to rank up;I just wish the reward pool wasn't so bad lately to make rents more...usable to keep ranking up

Personally, I think having Chaos Legion packs in the reward chest will help in speeding up the scarcity of CLP which in turn will make the prices of CL cards to increase soon enough. And if I'm not mistaken, the profit from the Chaos Legion packs will go directly to devs, so if they will allow CLP to be available from reward chest, it is somehow taken directly from their profit.
But of course, we know that the problem they are addressing here is the low sales observed after the general sale. First 6 million was sold in just days, but the rest of the 12 million packs takes too much time. If Chaos Legion will not be sold out, the release of Riftwatcher edition will definitely be delayed.

I think it will make CL's price fall down more and more until it sale out. But it will benefit in longer term
Chaos Legion packs are a great addition to the reward pool. It's a nice reward to earn, it will empty the pool of CL packs faster which is good card prizes in the near future and it increases the chance of airdrop monsters as these packs don't count towards the distribution of these monsters.

How can you not be excited for CL packs to be included in reward chests. It's a retail $4 reward, with the chance to be worth more (maybe less with bad luck). But either way, it's worth more than common or rare rewards. Plus it'll get us through the 15M sale quicker so the packs and cards start earning more scarcity value.

I love the way that you are doing it, the prompt is a good way to make sure people are reading! :)
As far as the packs, I think it is a great addition and gives a larger incentive to get up to that point, aka Silver 3, just to have a chance. Also since the packs did not sell as fast as they thought they would, it is a way to go those out and about as well. I think this will help get more people growing their collection.

Oh for sure. I'm generally not a huge fan of spam posts and as much I don't like to admit it, giveaways are absolutely spam. Thats not to say that there isn't a demand for this type of content but it doesn't really add much engagement to the platform.
I also agree with you. I think they were hoping more packs would sell and are now realizing that they won't in time for riftwatchers. This is now a method to ensure card scarcity via packs going out faster than they otherwise would.

The addition of Chaos Packs to the reward pool is very imo because it rewards players for having more power in one account instead splitting it over several accounts and it´s also an incentive to buy and hold more CP for new players. As we have a lot of packs left it´s a nice gift to the community with a good governance function within the game.
