Looks interesting, think it's more of your generations sort of thing as I didn't grow up with comics, I just played football all day every day during my school years, until about 14 when I got into games workshop, then into music, then I was 33 years old..

Well I read comics like the Dandy and Beano. Later there was Action (pretty violent) and 2000AD, but I didn't read any for a long time. Got into the graphic novels via various films like Watchmen and V For Vendetta. Got more Sandman next.

Brilliant films, v for vendetta (I watched this again a few weeks ago) was written by the, now woman, who wrote the matrix, brilliant film. Watchmen was brilliant too. Have you ever seen cloud atlas?

Alan Moore wrote these comics, but he doesn't tend to like the films. I've not seen Cloud Atlas, but I'll try to catch it some time. I like it when people explore different ideas as long as they don't try to be too clever :)
