Manchester United Slammed Arsenal as Carrick quits United.
It was indeed a well deserved win for United last night and for the first time recently, I saw United play with so much confidence even though they fell behind by a goal within the first 15 minutes of the match.
I sincerely did had pity on the referee because it seems like a very difficult decision to make considering the situation surrounding the nature of the goal from Smith Rowe in the first 13 mins of the match. I really don't do much about the rules and regulations that guides such occurrences in the game of football but I had read and listened to different opinions on what happened...
Some believed the goal shouldn't have been awarded at all and some felt since the attack came in De Gea from Fred, then there's no need for the goal not to be awarded. It was really a dicey state but I feel it's not something so serious in the news right now perhaps because Manchester United eventually won the match.
It's been hell of a long run for Bruno Fernandes without a goal but luckily for him, Fred gave the finishing pass to him last night which brought him back to live on the score sheet.
I am never worried about Ronaldo scoring goals because that's who he is - A GOAL SCORER! But having him slam the 800 career goals record was the big deal for him and all fans last night. We really don't know for how much longer Ronaldo would be available on the pitch but it's something seriously worth celebrating as it might be a way and a journey to highlight Sir. Pele's career goals record. Talks like this would always bring people to compare Messi and Ronaldo a lot but I'll definitely explain someday why both of them are quite competitive but not to be literally compared to each other.
What was your first reaction when you heard Carrick was leaving United?
For reasons I really can't explain, I feel I was expecting something like this to happen but not like this or at this time and for it to happen at this time makes it worrying and questionable.
Some would say it's a sign of respect of Ole, some would say he doesn't want to work with Ralf, and some even think it has to do with the Club's board. Carrick didn't actually give an exact clue on why he is leaving at this time that the club might be needing more than ever. He took over and managed United through three important fixtures and he won two and lost one. Not even a United fan would have expected these results if it were to still be Ole in charge but things happen and sometimes we don't really get to know nor hear the truth.
WHO AND WHAT WOULD RALF BE AT UNITED?
I sincerely don't know who this man is but firstly, I wish, hope, and pray he succeeds. I've not had time to check the stats over the years and what kind of coach he is. I've only learnt that he's a tactical coach who has once trained the likes of Klopp and Tuchel but that's not what United needs now, it's not about the past glory nor the hype but the results would definitely validates the truths, and that I am sure of!
