Siempre que salia de clase, tenía mi ritual. Recorría el patio de la universidad, llegaba a la fuente de la placita y cruzaba la calle hasta la panadería cuatro esquinas. Tenia ese nombre porque el local era todo cuadrado y hace esquina con las cuatro avenidas.

Estaba sentada disfrutando mi pan con queso y el café caliente cuando él pasó. Nos miramos y se sentó en mi mesa a conversar. Estudiábamos juntos pero casi no teníamos tiempo para conversar.

Me gustó mucho esa charla. Hablamos del futuro, de cómo podríamos trabajar en nuestras carreras para hacernos grandes profesionales. Hablamos de los sueños, de la visión emprendedora que tenemos en común. Hablamos de la vida.

Desde esa tarde fría de finales de otoño nos encontramos a diario después de clase. En la misma panadería cuatro esquinas a tomar café y a conversar de la vida. Es posible que esté naciendo algo más que una amistad entre nosotros. Solo el tiempo lo dirá.

Whenever I got out of class, I had my ritual. I would walk through the courtyard of the university, reach the fountain in the small square and cross the street to the four corners bakery. It had that name because the place was all square and on the corner of the four avenues.

I was sitting enjoying my cheesy bread and hot coffee when he walked by. We looked at each other and he sat down at my table to talk. We were studying together but hardly had time to talk.

I really enjoyed that talk. We talked about the future, how we could work on our careers to become great professionals. We talked about dreams, about the entrepreneurial vision we have in common. We talked about life.

Since that cold late autumn afternoon we meet daily after class. In the same four corners bakery to drink coffee and talk about life. It is possible that something more than a friendship is being born between us. Only time will tell.
