There are so many holidays this time of year
from many different religions and cultures!

Sinterklaas, Bodhi Day, Hanukkah, World Peace Day, Yalda,
Yule, Winter Solstice, Pancha Ganapati, Festivus, Christmas,
Boxing Day, Kwanzaa, New Years' Eve

For this week we want to know:


1️⃣ Have you been fortunate to experience a holiday
from a religion or culture different than your own?
If so, tell us about it! If not, which would you choose to experience?

2️⃣ LadiesOfHive was founded on the principle of
"women empowering each other."
Do you regularly support other posts in the community?
If not, I ask you to please make an effort to do that each week!
I challenge each of you to upvote and comment
on a post by another LadiesOfHive member!

My heart goes out you @olivia08 , I knew a few Christian Nurses that did contract work there and thought the pay was very good, they felt that the atmosphere was much like a prison with many rules and restrictions. I hope you can find another person to share Christmas together even for an hour.

Hello ladies, I love this one by @winnietran .

Its about the New Zealanders' festivals and her gladness to have visited the country for one year. She spiced it up with lots of pictures to give you the actual feel of the various events while her words described the experience explicitly.

I loved the idea of the greenstone of the culture. Imagine a beautiful piece of magical stone you can never buy for yourself. You'd have to be gifted it to own one.

As a form of contribution to the #60 contest of the @ladiesofhive community, I upvoted and commented on @winnietran 's post.

Its a pleasure reading and supporting post always.
