The weekend is fast approaching. Praises be to the most high for his grace and his goodness. God has been faithful. I am grateful for the gift of life and my family.

Had an "argument" with my best friend yesterday about how he needs to change his mindset. He believes you can't make it in this day and age without "connection" or without knowing someone in a high place. I told him it was very possible and he didn't believe it. I gave him instances and still he won't change his mind.

What do you also think? Can the average person make it in life without knowing anyone important person?
