My favourite unconventional anime characters [ENG-ESP]

Akame is the main character of the anime Akame ga Kill, along with Tatsumi who would also be another of my favourite characters, and I lumped them both together, as they are characters from the same anime series. Akame was a Night Raid assassin, an organization that was in charge of killing all the bad people in the empire, although this group was always labeled as the bad guys and they were wanted by the whole kingdom. One of the things I liked the most about Akame was her tenacity and her way of fighting, she was a relentless figure in the series, very feared in the plot and the reality is that she is one of the best assassins that we find in this production.

Akame is a character with many skills, an excellent fighter and at first she was seen as bad, but the reality is that she was someone else. That's where Tatsumi, our male protagonist, comes in. Unlike Akame, he didn't know how to fight very well, but one of his dreams was to become a very famous person in order to earn money and thus help his village, a dream he pursued with two other friends. They decided to travel to the capital, to achieve their goal, but they were forced to split up and sadly our main character's friends died, so Tatsumi decided to join Night Raid to fight the people who were really bad. What these two characters taught me is that what you see or believe is not always what is real, actions do not mark who people really are.

Akame ga Kill is one of my favourite anime of those that are not so conventional, the only thing I really didn't like was the ending and not because it was bad, but because of the ending of one of these two characters. Obviously, I'm not going to tell you about it, I hope you can see it for yourselves, maybe you'll have a different opinion. The truth is that the main reason I liked this anime, even though I had low expectations, were these two characters. Both have two different personalities, as Akame is more tenacious, while Tatsumi is much kinder and always cares about everyone, although he is still a great warrior. A great couple that undoubtedly make a great combination.

Akame era una asesina de Night Raid, una organización que se encargaba de matar a todas las personas malas del imperio, aunque este grupo siempre fue catalogado como los malos y eran buscados por todo el reino. Una de las cosas que más me agrado de Akame era su tenacidad y su forma de luchar, era una figura dentro de la serie implacable, muy temida dentro de la trama y es que la realidad es que es una las mejores asesinas que encontramos en esta producción.


Akame es un personaje con muchas habilidades, una excelente luchadora y que al principio se veía como mala, pero la realidad es que era otro. Allí es donde entra Tatsumi, nuestro prota masculino, quien al contrario de Akame, este no sabía pelear muy bien, pero uno de sus sueños era convertirse en una persona muy famosa para ganar dinero y de esta manera ayudar a su pueblo, un sueño que perseguía junto a dos amigos más. Estos decidieron viajar a la capital, para lograr su meta, pero se vieron obligados a separarse y tristemente los amigos de nuestro protagonista murieron, por lo cual Tatsumi decidió unirse a Night Raid para combatir a las personas que realmente eran malas. Los que me enseñaron estos dos personajes es que no siempre lo que se ve o se cree, es lo real, las acciones no marca lo que realmente son las personas.


Akame ga Kill es uno de mí animes favoritos de aquellos que no son tan convencionales, lo único que realmente no me gustó fue el final y no porque fue malo, sino por el final de uno de estos dos personajes. Obviamente, no se los voy a contar, espero que lo puedan ver por ustedes mismo, tal vez tengan una opinión distinta. Lo cierto que la principal razón que me haya gustado este anime, a pesar de tener bajas expectativas, fueron estos dos personajes. Ambos tiene dos personalidades distintas, ya que Akame es más tenaz, mientras que Tatsumi es mucho más amable y se preocupa siempre por todos, aunque no deja de ser un gran guerrero. Una gran pareja que sin lugar a dudas hacen una gran combinación.

Baki is another one of my favourite characters, being the central character of the anime Baki Hanma whose plot is about fighting, martial arts. This anime was another one that surprised me, at first I didn't think I would like it, because it's not one of my favourites. A friend recommended it to me, he told me to watch it and the truth is that I don't regret it. This anime is about fights between characters in order to know who is the strongest person in the world, every second is a fight, you can't find it in the streets because it's a fight without truce, until the other one gives up or dies.

Baki is a character who is destined to fight his father, the Ogre, who is known in the anime as the strongest man in the world and it is really impressive the fear he produces in all the characters, even in Baki. But he doesn't stop training and training to achieve his purpose and that is to get revenge on his father for killing his mother. The Ogre is another of my favourite characters of the whole series, but I preferred his son, as his evolution within the story was greater, he went from less to more, he never gave up and each time he became stronger, defeating characters stronger than him. This was a character with whom I connected with each time the chapters, arcs and seasons passed, until a memorable ending.

Este anime fue otro que me sorprendió, al principio no creía que me gustaría, porque no es de mis favoritos. Un amigo me lo recomendó, me dijo para verlo y la verdad es que no me arrepiento. Este anime trata sobre peleas entre personajes con la finalidad de saber quién es la persona más fuerte del mundo, cada segundo es una pelea, no se puede encontrar en las calles porque es una lucha sin tregua, hasta que el otro se rinda o muera.


Baki es personaje que está destinado a pelear con su padre, el Ogro, quien es conocido en el anime como el hombre más fuerte del mundo y realmente es impresionante el miedo que produce en todos los personajes, incluso en Baki. Pero este no deja de entrenar y formarse para lograr su propósito y es vengarse de su padre por haber matado a su madre. El Ogro es otro de mis personajes favoritos de toda la serie, pero preferí a su hijo, ya que su evolución dentro de la historia fue mayor, fue de menos a más, nunca se rindió y cada vez se fue haciendo más fuerte, derrotando a los personajes más fuertes que él. Este fue un personaje con la cual fue conectando cada vez que pasaban los capítulos, arcos y temporadas, hasta un final memorable.

These are three of my favourite characters from anime that are not conventional or that are not as well known as those that have a large amount of fandom. Each of them I loved their evolution within the plot, they showed one personality and ended up being another, like Akame who despite being very cold, but in many moments showed a lot of pain caused by everything that happened, but she really did care about others, although to a lesser extent than Tatsumi. The latter didn't have a desired ending for me, but I can still say that he is one of my favourite characters. Baki maybe always kept his personality, always wanting to fight, no matter why, but he always kept his conviction, always knew what he wanted and fought for it until the end.

I could name other characters, but certainly these are the ones I remember at the moment, maybe I have missed some, but certainly these three are the ones I liked the most, taking out other characters that marked my childhood and for which I could easily be inclined. Kaneki from Tokyo Ghoul could be another favourite character, but it's always that the direction they gave in the story was not to my liking, the first two seasons were great, but from there I lost all my interest in the anime. Estos son tres de mis personajes favoritos de animes que no son convencionales o que no son tan conocidos como aquellos que tienen una gran cantidad de fandom. Cada uno de ellos me encantó su evolución dentro de la trama, mostraron una personalidad y terminó siendo otra, como el caso de Akame que a pesar de ser muy fría, pero en muchos momentos mostró mucho dolor causado por todo lo que paso, pero realmente sí se preocupaba por los demás, aunque en menor medida que Tatsumi. Este último no tuvo un final deseado por mí, pero aun así puedo decir que es de mis personajes favoritos. Baki tal vez siempre mantuvo su personalidad, el siempre querer pelear, sin importar el porqué, pero siempre mantuvo su convicción, siempre supo lo que quería y lucho por ello hasta el final.


Podría nombrarles otro personajes más, pero ciertamente estos son los que recuerdo al momento, tal vez se me haya pasado alguno, pero ciertamente estos tres son los que más gustaron, sacando a otros personajes que marcaron mi infancia y por la cual facilmente me podría inclinar. Kaneki de Tokyo Ghoul podría ser otro personaje favorito, pero es que siempre que el rumbo que dieron en la historia no fue de mi agrado, las dos primeras temporadas geniales, pero de allí perdí todo mi interes por el anime.
