Many of them don't even seem to understand crypto, but what they do get is that it represents a challenge to their control over the people. My hope is that soon a visonary leader will emerge who will realize the promise of crypto and ignite the revolution in personal empowerment, then get the government out of they way and let us innovate our asses off!

I'd love to see crypto return to it's roots, have better governance and make decentralization in a reality in a smart way. But it's going to be up to developers or companies building such things and then releasing control. It's going to be hard pressed to see that really happen.
