The USA Government Is Making All The Wrong Moves
Lately the united states government in my own opinion has been making so many wrong moves and honestly changing this country into a military state or police state. It's quickly becoming a country not for the the people and by the people but instead for the party.
The SEC, CFTC and other arms of the united states government continue to make it more and more of a challenge for businesses to operate on the cutting edge of innovation and it's quickly going to bite them in the butt.
The united states should be embracing crypto and with that dishing out real regulations. Instead what do we have?
Both the SEC and CFTC that is suppose to issue and give clear guidance and regulations is instead making no real information to people leaving many questions unanswered, losing lawsuits and instead just constantly fining people and companies for so called bad practices in their so called crack down on crytpo.
What we have now are two arms of the united states government that are doing NOTHING other than grabbing up funds to support their pointless lawsuits and doing nothing constrictive with it all.
This is increasingly showing me and other that the government is not crypto friendly what so ever and is simply using it as a piggy bank now with fines and lawsuits. What will happen next I believe is crypto will go back to it's roots where people restore privacy and give a big F YOU to the government.
Personally this is exactly how I've felt over the last 3-5 years with everything going on in crypto and the government and because of that I'm even more hell bent on supporting crypto.
To me it's on of the last lines of defense for the American people to restore their freedoms, right to privacy and to get an increasingly greedy government off their back.
We also have more arms of the government involved now as well. This IRS has been up to no good lately as well. And our wonderful senator Elizabeth Warren is trying to issue in new laws making owning a crypto wallet illegal. WTF ever happened to the American people having freedoms to do what they want, how they want to and do what they want with their money? I'm honestly pissed off and so should you be if you live in the United states. These few people in government are headed to one of the worst disasters ever right now.
Right now the USA has a very real chance to be at the forefront of something great and remove the old fiat system. It would usher in new jobs, a hub for trade and yes it would most likely be highly regulated but honestly it wouldn't be any different. Instead they are trying to shut it down and drive all of that business and innovation out which is utterly going to kill the united states. There's quickly becoming lots of serious issues with the united states coming up and personally I don't know how to fix it besides trying to hold on to as much wealth as possible.

Many of them don't even seem to understand crypto, but what they do get is that it represents a challenge to their control over the people. My hope is that soon a visonary leader will emerge who will realize the promise of crypto and ignite the revolution in personal empowerment, then get the government out of they way and let us innovate our asses off!

I'd love to see crypto return to it's roots, have better governance and make decentralization in a reality in a smart way. But it's going to be up to developers or companies building such things and then releasing control. It's going to be hard pressed to see that really happen.
Maybe they do it on purpose

Definitely some foolish shit going on. I’m sad to say that I used to like Elizabeth but that was in my younger days. I guess it’s not a bad thing to grow and change with time. It’s helped me figure out a lot of things that’s for sure!
We need to start locally I think and get local senators and politicians to have a more positive outlook on this all. If we can effect change locally it will go on up and the idiots like warren won’t be able to make much of a change because they’ve be drowned out.

If European governments would be smart, they would not trail the US in this crusade against crypto, and embrace it instead. Europe is in a rough shape as it is, the worse it's been in decades. But they are as dumb, if not dumber than the US government and agencies are.
