Well THAT was an interesting day!

I love my business. I do meaningful work with adult clients in various locations around the world. It suits me. I'm pretty good at it. It offers diversity of work and is challenging and meaningful. It keeps me on my toes!

And... and, I realised just a few weeks ago how much I miss working with young people. I miss the aliveness and malleability and spontaneity of children! So I considered my options and realised the one I'd like the most for right (to work in Outside School Hours Care at a local primary school) and today I had an interview!

It's the first time I've ever been interviewed on a video call. Familiar, because I do all my client work this way. Unfamiliar because of the change in context. It seemed to go well. They are very keen for more staff as they seem to have lots quite a lot for Covid related reasons. And the woman interviewing me seemed really stoked for and respectful of the life experience and (unconventional) professional experience I bring to the table.

I imagine I'll know within a week or so whether I have a position with the organisation or not. I'm hoping so. Odds look good.

Other than that, I spend the day studying one of my clients' Human Design charts in preparation for my call with him on Wednesday and bought some more green leafy veg from the store so I've got enough for the next few days.

After all that, the darling man I love got home. This is me, trying to kiss him in one of our bushwalking selfies. I like doing this. I think he mostly thinks it's weird, but he seems to tolerate it. He must love me a lot ;)
