Who's got the camera now? (And a little trip planning)
After pushing it harder than I meant to yesterday at parkrun I really wanted to take it easy today. So when my body said, "I'm ready to get up" soon after 6am, and the mister was still in the house about to leave for his long run, I opted to take it easy. I did my regular morning routine of drinking two big glasses of warm water with L-Glutamine in the first.
I opened the curtains in the second lounge room which I mostly use as my yoga and 'tapping' (EFT not tap dancing!) space, opened the window and let the sunlight directly into my eyes. Once new.things had left for his run I decided this morning that I would tap on the reply I got from my friend I mentioned yesterday. I was not what I expected to hear, I guess it was better, but it was still unsettling as is any change or anything unexpected.
I used a tap along video made by another EFT expert whose stuff I usually find to be okay but I wanted to test out some more and, probably because I was already triggered, it was really powerful! That's what we want.
With tapping done and water drunk I then did a few sun salutations (rounds of simple yoga) to ground back into my body after moving a LOT of emotional energy. And once I felt really clear and really grounded again, and before I got too hungry, I sat and calmly and thoughtfully replied to my friend. Yes, it seems we are still friends. Yes, it seems she does care about me, so friends we shall stay.
Fast forward to late afternoon, and having already visited Brad's family for the first time in weeks (we usually see them every weekend but with him getting Covid we had to stay away for a little while), it was time for a walk in our beloved nearby bush.
Since we needed to make a plan for when and where we will see MY family when we go to Sydney I took my phone so my sister could call me back. I usually leave my phone at home and just enjoy the bush. But with the phone in hand it meant I could take this photo of us :)
And this photo of one of our favourite spots in the late afternoon (because the light is so pretty!)
And this photo of my awesome Garmin watch as proof of exercise. The end ;)
I just finished a 1.92km walking that lasted about 0hh:31mm:50ss !
