Fungi Friday: Too much fungi to count this time

I was having trouble locating my mushroom friends recently and now it's the opposite. Mushroom overload. So much so I won't be posting everything this time.

You must be patient. I know these posts are the highlight of everyone's week 😀

I receive so many messages asking what's happening in fungi land I needed to bring on some help. Who better than a mushroom? Stephanie is so much help.

Luckily, the community fungi board wasn't too full this time. They had the usual community events up there, a missing cat flyer, ads for dog walking services and finally my help wanted posting.

It read as so.

Luckily, the position has now been filled. Mushroom work is tough I tell you.

Hello you, I see you caught my eye. Technically both of them 👀

Everyone appears to be gathered around the table and by table I mean stump.

Time to get down on the forest floor for a closer look. I think this is a mushroom but could be wrong 😀

Providing a little shade for the leaf below. They're very thoughtful.

This one has been sitting a little too long. The green slime is starting to form again. Time for a walk or some spin class, anything.

X marks the spot apparently in leaf form. I wonder if there are any fungi pirates out there? There must be

Maybe the treasure was the fungi below the X? That one has an interesting formation.

Looking underneath we start to see the interesting dimples.
Who doesn't love dimples? Crazy people, I agree too.

They're not actually touching. I wasn't sure until I saw this shot. Overbearing? Nah, they're just protective.

Who are you trying to fool here? This is the same darn shot!
Umm no it isn't, you get more headroom. This is like 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. Pffft whatever, I suppose
