[PL / ENG] Zagroda żubrów w strugach deszczu / A bison farm in the pouring rain My Actifit Report Card: June 16 2024

W niedzielę, w strugach deszczu, pojechaliśmy do Pszczyny. Uwielbiam Pszczynę - park, pałac, rynek. Zagrodę żubrów w sumie najmniej ;) ale jako, że dla rodziców liczą się przede wszystkim atrakcje dla dzieci, to tym razem padło właśnie na odwiedziny u żubrów.

On Sunday, in pouring rain, we went to Pszczyna. I love Pszczyna - the park, the palace, the market square. The least important thing is the bison farm ;) but since parents care about attractions for children, this time it was a visit to the bisons.

Bombel pogodził się z rowerkiem, więc do zagrody pojechał tam na nim - a warto, bo od parkingu do zagrody prowadzi fajna, wybrukowana, szeroka droga, o długości nie wiem - może z pół kilometra. Miła, rześka przejażdżka i spacer.

Bombel came to terms with the bicycle, so he rode it to the farm - and it was worth it, because from the parking lot to the farm there is a nice, paved, wide road, I don't know how long it is - maybe half a kilometer. Nice brisk ride and walk.

Bilety wstępu nie są tanie: bodajże 28 złotych dla osoby dorosłej. Dzieci do lat 4 za darmo, więc nasze bombelki weszły gratis. A cena nie jest niska, bo tak naprawdę zagroda jest maleńka, jakby się uprzeć, obejdziesz w 7 minut. Ale my zrobiliśmy tam ładnych kilka kółek, więc nam się zwróciło ;)

Entrance tickets are not cheap: probably PLN 28 for an adult. Children up to 4 years old are free, so our bubbles were included for free. And the price is not low, because the farm is actually tiny - if you insist, you can get around it in 7 minutes. But we did a few nice circles there, so it paid off ;)

Dzidzia na wejściu zrobiła taką aferę, że obudziła żubry i dzięki temu opuściły swoje dalekie ustronie i podeszły pod sam płot, aby się z nami przywitać. Tak więc Dzidzia poleca się na odwiedziny w zagrodzie.

The baby made such a fuss at the entrance that it woke up the bisons, so they left their distant retreat and came right up to the fence to greet us. So Baby is recommended while visiting the farm.

Przy żubrzej zagrodzie znajduje się taras widokowy, można z góry popatrzeć na żubry. Jest luneta, jeśli żadna dzidzia nie obudzi żubrów i będą schowane w swoim zaciszu to można je w ten sposób podejrzeć z daleka. Są miejsca siedzące, można zażyć chwili relaksu.

There is an observation deck next to the bison farm, where you can look at the bisons from above. There is a telescope, if no baby wakes the bison and they are hidden in their privacy, you can view them from a distance this way. There are seats where you can relax for a while.

Chwili relaksu... o ile spacerujący biały paw Cię nie przestraszy. Kiedy przebierałam Dzidzilitę, robił zakusy na nas takie, jakby chciał ją zjeść :) Bombel też lekutko się obawiał tego niesamowitego ptaszyska.

A moment of relaxation... as long as the walking white peacock doesn't scare you. When I was dressing Dzidzilita, he was trying to attack us as if he wanted to eat her :) Bombel was also slightly afraid of this amazing bird.

W kolejnych zagrodach możemy podejrzeć sarny, jelenie, osły, kozy. Kiedyś był tu też przepiękny muflon, tym razem nie udało mi się go wypatrzyć.

In the next farmsteads we can see roe deer, deer, donkeys and goats. There used to be a beautiful mouflon here, but this time I couldn't spot it.

W przypadku ulewy można troszkę się osuszyć w budynku pośrodku zagród. Są tam pomieszczenia z eksponatami. Eksponaty to w głównej mierze martwe ciała zwierząt. Co kto lubi...

In the event of a downpour, you can dry off a bit in the building in the middle of the farmsteads. There are rooms with exhibits. The exhibits are mainly dead animal bodies. If someone likes it...

Jak oceniam wizytę? Chyba się starzeję, bo podobał mi się ten deszcz. Zagroda jak zagroda. Fajnie, że są zwierzątka, ale jednak widać, że są uwięzione i niby ciasno nie mają, ale jednak.
Nieopodal jest inna atrakcja żubrowa, gdzie podobno można je podejrzeć na dziko. Stay tuned. Być może uda nam się odwiedzić. :)

How do I rate the visit? I must be getting old because I liked this rain. A farm like a farm. It's nice that there are animals, but you can see that they are trapped and they don't seem to be cramped, but still.
There is another bison attraction nearby, where apparently you can see them in the wild. Stay tuned. Maybe we can visit that place. :)
