Vlog 413: Steem apps can learn from each-other and that's powerful!

With that out of the way, today, I talk about development on the Steem Blockchain and how hard it is to keep up.
Steem is an app-specific blockchain, which makes it extremely good at what it does, and with more apps being developed the harder it is to keep up with all the development. (Don't worry, that's a good thing!).
But because Steem is app-specific, all the applications build on Steem have an opportunity to learn from each other and that is extremely powerful.
Palnet.io, for instance, is changing the way posts are promoted on their frontend by burning PAL tokens and putting them in their trending page alongside other trending posts. It looks like this:
That's way better for visibility! Steemit can choose to pick this up if they want too. It's also a great way to burn STEEM.
Another example is the way 3SPEAK onboard new users.
Instead of creating STEEM accounts to let users comment, they let users log in with their Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Google account and use Proxy Steem accounts in the background to make the comments in their name.
Once the 'new' users have earned enough STEEM via the proxy accounts they get a free Steem account and are now frictionless onboarded.
And remember a user onboarded in 1 app is a user onboarded in all the apps the Steem Blockchain has to offer.
According to the developer of 3speak, 80% of the users on 3speak don't have a STEEM account yet but they are currently working towards one.
80% of those users would have felt left out otherwise and now they are not.
That's innovation!
I can only see the sharing of knowledge increase in the future and that's what you get when you all build for the same blockchain and trying to make it better as a community and where everyone that has STEEM benefits from its growth.

Steem engine is smooth and working perfectly again really, sometimes it's a good thing that we see these kinda glitches, it shows that despite all odds people are engaged on steem one way or another.
Definitely right, palnet and these other interfaces are making their adjustments, adding a whole lot and trust me I'm really loving the developments. Well as for the promotion angle I really salute the palnet team, I guess I'd have to try these promotion feature sometimes. Amazing video @exyle well-done

For me, Steem as social blockchain benefits the most from working together with each other on Steem but also working together with other blockchains. That's how we can grow the fastest and I love to see it happening even with some glitches from time to time.
Working together on Steem you can see happening with a combination of Steem Engine, Tokenbb, and Spinterlands as an example. It just works.
And you can see this happening with other blockchains with STEEM, TRON, and Splinterlands but also with STEEM, EOS, and APPICS. It just makes so much sense.
STEEM is not trying to 'kill' any blockchain. Working together is where it's at.
This is a tremendous idea. Each App has different developers and each brings new ideas to the table that they can all share and benefit from. It’s like an open source blockchain for App developers. This is very progressive and impressive. Thanks

It's pretty much easy to say whatever the hell you want on the internet, yet in this day and age it really matters so we should be careful with what we say for it can really backfire us in the future, if you know what I mean. As the things are going on right now with STEEM 2 major projecting is very much discussed by the community.
1st is to be PAL Net project with their own native token to get while posting throught it.
And 2nd one is the 3speak project where new people is joinging with it .
STEEM is surely having a good future with development on it's blockchain.

Then, before I knew it, I was on 3speak! haha ---- all these new things just popping up. It's very exciting for sure!! But, it is all still very new. There’s is so many platforms are coming on steem platform. Some big names like steemit, d.tube , partiko and so many steem stands at no. Three in total transactions occur on blockchain.
If these show some collaboration together then it can really make a big difference.
