The Reason I am Bringing up Las Vegas I Because I went through some old boxes that I have at my House and I Found a Couple of Those Dollar Gaming Tokens that Most Las Vegas Casinos Used to Use For Their Slot Machines..........
Here is The First Token I came Across From the Old Sands Hotel Pictured Above.............
Now Since The Original Las Vegas Sands is Gone I Guess my $1.00 Gaming Token Will Never Get Cashed back in for a $1 Federal Reserve Note........
Slot Machines Used to Pay These Things Out at the Machine and What a Beautiful Sound they Would Make if You Hit a Big Jackpot, Just ask Charles Fuchs @stackin, Here on Steemit, He Knows !!!
Then The Other Token I came Across Was From This Place on The Strip........For Some Reason I Always Think about The Wizard of OZ when I see this Hotel...........Emerald City Maybe ??

As a young boy, I handed my Aunt a “Real Silver Dollar” to put in a Slot Machine, at the Golden Nugget... I’m happy to say, that three Plums lined up, and 14 “Silver Dollars” came pouring out...

The first time i came to vegas was in 1998... man, it sure has changed! I haven't been to the MGM for a long time with all the other new casino out there these days. I do remember the metal $1 casino chips, those are long gone these days haha
I know You have Seen a lot my Brother. You are Consistent and an Inspiration to many People. We are Getting towards the END of The FIAT System and You know What ? The Silver Stackers will Have Their Day. They don't Call Nevada The Silver State for Nothing ! @stackin
Never been to Las Vegas but worth an upvote.
Interesting... I guess after they got rid of "real Silver Dollars" they needed a replacement...
Oh ...To have been there when you could pull the lever and Morgans came out if you hit the jackpot!!🤗
I use to Spend "Real Silver Dollars"... I know the way back, with a few minor changes... Naturally, Silver will be worth more, then when I was Growing Up... The "Spending Power" of Silver is more than likely, returning to the Year 1792 or Earlier...

I remember the sound of "real " Silver at the bank.
People today don't have a clue.....🙃
My Father let me use $50 to go to the Bank to look through Silver Dollars... I was looking for Carson City Mint Marks... I never did find any in Circulation...

That sounds familiar, I would go get rolls of Silver Quarters and exchange Fiat.....😇
Back then, I didn't think of Paper Money as Fiat, but I sure do now...

What are those game tokens made of @stockjockey? It is great that you were able to keep those three from your days of playing slot machines in LV. Great mementos of the old days. I think that nowadays, you bring your 1K fiat to the cashier, and they give you a ticket (hehehe, worst than federal notes) which you use to play the machines... that's what I saw anyway when I was there. And those who chose to play small amounts, insert fiat onto the machines. So interesting!
Have a great day, my friend, and take care 🥰🌺🤙
I am not sure what they are made of maybe nickel and copper. I found them in a box of Stuff and I don't recall ever playing slot machines to use them. They are neat though Ms. Saver @silversaver888
