Got a Waka!

I was lucky enough to get one of the first Waka Spiritblade cards that just went on sale on Splinterlands

and immediately sold out.

I don't know how quickly they sold out, but it was less than 3 minutes (That's how long my victory dance lasted before I refreshed the screen).

For those of you who missed out on getting one of these new summoners, there will be 500 more sold on WAX in the near future. The Splinterlands team has not announced the Price or Time of the WAX sale yet, but I hope when they decide on the price, they take into account that the card has been trading on the market for around $2300. I would hate to see them price it too low and crash the market.

It's a very powerful card as you can see from the stats

and even though I'm only playing in Gold League now, it's a very effective summoner. Here is the first battle with my new Waka Spiritblade

Waka made quick work of Mylor Crowling and his team. Normally, I have a lot of problems battling Mylor, but not with my new Waka. I guess this card will always be special to me. It is the first Max level card I've ever owned and it's also the most expensive card I've ever purchased. I'm hopeful that the Splinterlands team won't be releasing any new promo cards anytime soon. I can't afford to buy a card like this every week!

It really did sell out almost instantly, I heard that it took less than a minute for all copies to be gone.

The people doing V2K want me to believe it is this lady @battleaxe Investigate what she has been up to for 5 years. Its the next step to stopping this. I used to. Sold all but one. I already rent all my maxed cards.

Since I don’t play much I rent. It’s been pretty good for me.
