SteemPower Investments - Introducing the Contingency Plan for @spinvest - Version 1
Hello folks, today is the day that i will be mostly talking about the contingency plan for SteemPower Investments. As SPI gets ever closer to it's first target of having 10,000 tokens issued to investors, it is maybe time to have a contingency plan in place should something happen to me and i am not capable are alive enough to complete my duties. Let's have a look and see who it is.

Steem powered investments @spinvest has been set up to offer an investment fund based on funding from STEEM POWER. Investments are funded through extracting value out of STEEM POWER and taking advantage of STEEM's high inflation rate. The aim is not to get rich quick; the aim is to build a safe portfolio of investments that will stand the test of time while insuring all investors starting capital is not at risk. Welcome @welshstacker
Here he is with some mixed leaf he homegrown in his back garden.
Why he?
In a nutshell, i trust the guy. I have known Welshie for as long as i can remember being on Steemit, maybe i joined first but both being from the UK is a plus as we were online at the same time and idle chat on discord alot. Apart from he currently runs @thebankofwelsh which offers steemit members the chance to buy welshies for 1 STEEM each, only for sale for 1 year. The bank will run for 3 years so the last 2 years are daily posts to earn rewards. This could be doing a lot better than it is and is perfect for a curation trail. He and I have also been running the community upvoting bot for the #steemsilvergold community which is a 150k beast for around 1 year together. He sorts out all the leases, payments and tracks delegations while i update excel sheets and run the bot. We work pretty well together and our thought process is alike.
So what's the plan?
I have wrote up a word document that contains all private keys for @spinvest and @steempowerinvest (currently not used). This gives access to steem-engine and pretty much STEEM related that uses steemconnect. We have agreed that i send him an an update every 3 months as new off platforms investments are made and more access passwords/keys are being used.
The actual plan for now would be SteemPower Investment would cease with me. Welsh would close down the token sales on steem-engine and refund all new payments. All delegations would be canceled and full power down would take place to last 13 weeks. He then has 13 weeks to sell off all off platform investments, convert everything to BTC then STEEM and send it tot he @spinvest account. After the full power down is complete, he will send each token holder the STEEM value of their tokens. I think the chance of this happening is slim and this is only contingency plan version 1.
As more SPI tokens are issued and the investors list grows, the plan is to hand off roles to certain investors that will require holding private keys meaning that the contingency plan would change and as growth takes place, more roles will be assigned and it'll get to the point that we will not need a contingency plan cause investors will hold all the details. All this sort of stuff start to happen after 6-12 months from today as i think i will take that long to build up some sort of community with active members that have built bonds and earned trust.
That's about it wrapped up in simple terms. It will add it into the agreement in more clear terms but it's a start and it is another thing marked off the checklist of things to do.

This looks like a good plan - someone you trust and who you are working with already and have a track record.
Thank you. It's a good start
