My precioussss!

Yep, that's how I feel now, staring at the new toy!

My laptop (the computer I used until now) was probably near 15 years. Although a brand new SSD gave it some new life, the truth is that, although functional... it was starting to really be uncapable of keeping up: a few seconds here, a few seconds there, and at the end of the week, probably a few hours wasted in simply staring at the screen!

So last week, I finally decided to to a long due upgrade: reached out to a good friend that works in IT, and in just a few days... a custom made awesome machine! Not top of the line, but the perfect balance between budget and functionality for me.

Specs?

• AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor
• Motherboard ASUS B650M-Plus Wifi
• 16 GB DDR5 RAM
• NVIDIA Geforce GT 1030

These alone will probably be way more than enough for the next years; the GPU is the worse of the bunch, but I can always upgrade it later if need arises.

Now, it's up to me to boost my productivity! Awesome specs and near-instant browsing won't do the trick alone, but will surely help: even sorting through my photo archive for posts was a daunting task, given the time some folders would take to open, and the sluggishness of scrolling through the photos. All part of the past!

Reinstalling apps, importing bookmarks, taking the opportunity to clean a ton of junk, I'll surely will have plenty of time to occupy; feel a little bit like a kid in Christmas, thinking of all the cool new stuff I'll be able to do, and improve the ones I was doing so far!

Work and learn will be my focus. but since not all is about productivity... can anyone shill some cool games to try out? I want to see what this baby can handle! Web3 related, Splinterlands will continue to be my focus, Rising star and Dcity as well, and will definitely give PsyberX a try! But eager to try some new titles! So, who knows what's out there? Web3 preferred, but not excluding anything.

Time to do some more tweaks, installations... and think where will I take my buddy out for a really well deserved dinner, for designing and assembling this beauty!😄
