A society is characterised by different values that shape the general image of the population and morality forms an important basis for the assessment of correct action or behaviour and it can also be considered as a kind of indicator which is important for the reasonable behaviour of a society. The word originally comes from the Latin from the word Moralis and the morality is already taught to children in education where about authority figures moral values such as politeness, attachment, cleanliness, respect and many more are spread and there are always different views on moral values which can differ from culture to culture but it is everywhere important that for a healthy coexistence the morality is in a good balance. Morality influences the entire actions as well as thinking of a society and certain events that have violated certain values also have as a result that morality decreases and this can be certain things that are associated with fear such as violence, bullying, diseases and other forms of things that deviates from the basic idea of a society and is associated with negative thoughts. When people have a negative morals, they do these things that deviate from certain principles and this can have different causes and a good example are countries where high poverty prevails and this often means that people tend to be more violent and this can also refer to certain life situations in the individual in which people are desperate and have to struggle with a difficult phase and thereby change behaviour and in this context personal development is of great importance for the morality of the individual.

There are various factors that influence morality and these can be certain political or social changes that generate fear or insecurity among the masses and certain events can improve morale and this can be activities that are associated with culture, sports, social activities or many other things. Good morality guarantees a polite social coexistence and as a result people live more in harmony and generally peacefully with each other and it is one of the basic prerequisites for social coexistence and in times in which certain negative events such as illness, war or other scenarios accumulate, people have completely different moral values and often a negative moral is also the trigger for certain events. There are always very different views on the right moral behaviour, but there are certainly basic values that are decisive for a healthy coexistence and through the changes of the generations this is also often changed and each person represents his own point of view for moral values which are characterised by individualism and here there are fundamental differences between different age groups or social and economic classes and from a psychological point of view, this topic is of great relevance and also an important topic in research. Within psychology there is even a separate branch that focusses on exploring moral values and this area is particularly important to observe social developments, but the understanding of it is much older than this modern branch of psychology and already in old cultures, people dealt a lot with morality and realised how important it is.
