Eye See You

This is an exquisite corpse collaboration I did with Marc Gosselin in 2012. I posted a result of a different collaboration with Marc last year you can check out here: https://steemit.com/drawing/@sanderjansenart/just-another-day-at-the-zoo

I started drawing the top half. When I was ready I covered my part with a small strip to see. Send it to Marc in Canada and he created the bottom half without seeing the rest of my drawing. When it was finished he uncovered my part to see the final result.

I did a lot of Exquisite Corpse collaborations back in the day. There is still one out there that needs to be finished...

The collaboration is done with pencils and a4 paper.

His art can be found here https://www.deviantart.com/marcgosselin

Been a while working with pencils and do a lot digitally. Still got a few unfinished pencil drawings left to finish. So much to do...

Shameless self promotion

so cool! Im a huge fan of the Exquisite corpse....I used to play it a lot but I don't seem to have many real-life drawing buddies these days! Its fun to do it at the very same time because you can kind of bounce off each other and finish bits for each other when you feel your losing your way. So good. This is a fabulous finished piece you guys have made here!

Thank you @basilmarples! Well all the collaborations I have done so far are with artists I never met in real life ;) I have been sending it to all different kind of countries for collaborations :) I recently started an open digital collaboration and got one on my desk I still have to start working on lol

Intruiging concept. It looks like a coherent whole, as if there is one idea behind it. Yet the result different from what it would have been if either of you had made the drawing alone. Beautiful example of 'the result is more than the sum of the two halves'.

What I find most interesting is the connection between you and Marc when creating the design. Cool. I liked your work.
Greetings.

This is amazing! I'm impressed how both parts seem to flow into eachother. It reminds me of this children's drawing game; folding a paper in three parts and drawing different parts of an animal or person without seeing the other person's part, just lines to mark the width.

P.S. I see Marc's signature underneath the painting but not yours :>)

P.P.S. @carlgnash these eyeballs reminded me of your style :>)
