MY DIY Doll makeover!

ntopaz-image-0ntopaz-image-1ntopaz-image-2ntopaz-image-3ntopaz-image-4ntopaz-image-5ntopaz-image-6Hello Wonderful People!

Hope you are enjoying your holiday!

My niece was asking me for days to change her doll dress and give her a bath, as it was getting dirty. But I was a bit busy and actually had no idea how can I give the doll a new dress. I have checked my spare things and got something to give her a good makeover.

I first undress her to give her a good wash. And then did the most hard job, making the hair. As you can see the previous one was wearing a knit hat, so she had no hair inside. I have to make the hair from scratch. I use black knit (as we also got natural black hair) to sew her hair. And use some glue also to set that.

I use some laces to make her cloth. And also use my spare beads to give her a cute necklace. And she is finally ready to rock the party!

My niece is more than happy seeing the new look of her doll.

My son was there during the process and he was like, ''Mamma don't hurt her, why you are sewing her, she will get hurt? Why you are cutting her hair, she wants long hair. LOL He was a little upset when my niece brought the doll with her. But I make him understand that it's her doll and it's her gift. I have to give him some chocolate instade. :)

I am really happy to make my niece and also my son happy with my work.

THANKS FOR READING

Much Love

Keep Steeming

Sorry for the late reply.
Yeah, our mom used to sew our cloths and it's some wonderful memories. You can make something for your daughter, may be something handmade which does not require any machine. This will be her life time gift.
Stay Blessed!

Wow that's some make over you did there. You are really good and I'm pretty sure you could do a make over on any kind of doll.

I didn't know about this. Thanks for sharing. I will look at it.
But I don't get much time to do all such things. I understand how satisfactory it would be to see all the doll creation. I wish to do some more in future.
Thanks again.
