'Takt/Patterning2' - New Original Music - Taking Yesterday's Idea and Trying Out Different Drums - Electronic/Instrumental

individual mono tracks of yesterday's song idea a bit last night, but today, I went back to the Digitakt and removed the drums entirely (in a new Pattern, so the original still exists). I played around with some other samples in those 3 slots, which wound up being more percussive. I filmed and recorded this, so the actual arrangement is a bit different too, since I just muted/unmuted things on the fly, then I made a little beat in Patterning2, and recorded that. I think the beat is cool, but its a bit too much, as there are already percussive elements on the Takt, and they're a bit random and all over the place, so a solid beat under it doesn't work as well. I was thinking I'd instead add the drums to the individual tracks, so I can remove some of the other samples... I'll try that tonight and see what happens. I feel like this is progress at least, so hopefully the results will pan out.
