'Synthesized Theme' - New Original Music - A Whole Bunch of ROLI Synth Sounds - Electronic/Instrumental

to share today, though I'm gonna have quite a few more Elektron-box tunes soon... My big surprise arrives on Thursday or Friday, and that, plus the boxes, is gonna make for some AWESOME stuff. I can't wait to start playing around with them together. Until then, I'll keep jamming on stuff like this. I essentially wanted to make something spacey, with a bunch of super heavily delay laden, reverby synths, and wound up using all ROLI sounds. I was picking them a bit at random, just clicking around the massive ROLI library and finding things I liked. I can't really go track by track, as some of them play single notes, every 3 or 4 bars, others full arpeggios, and everything in between hehe. I figured I'd make a 16 bar loop, which follows the progression of Emin for 8 bars, then C for 4, and Amin for 4, though these changes are actually staggered a bit, not happening right on the bar lines. Track 10 was a last minute addition, using the 'Glacier Tundra' kit. I don't really know how much I love this addition... I think maybe no drums would work better, but I dunno. Overall, I like this idea, and the floaty, rhythmless sort of vibe. The Valhalla Supermassive Delay/Reverb plug-in is a big part of this, being used on a TON of these tracks. Some of them are pretty intense delays, essentially working as a looper, others more just like reverbs.
