'Stacked Intervals' - New Original Music - Playing w/ Ableton Packs
I decided to explore some of the Ableton
packs which I haven't used much recently, so I figured I'd just sort of scroll through and pick things randomly. Track 1 is where I started, which has the 'chord' effect on it, a 5th on top and below each note played. I outlined the 3 note chords below, which wind up sounding much more full with those extra extensions on each single note played. I recorded the audio into Track 3 as I initially was going to warp/pitch down things, but didn't wind up doing that. I also recorded a variation, which is in Yellow in Track 3; same idea, 3 notes at a time. All of the other tracks are sort of random choices, mostly pad and key sounds. Overall, I don't dislike them but they're not the most exciting things by default, so if I decide to build on this I'll definitely work on that. I may just wind up taking Track 1/3 on its own and start again from there, see what happens. That's far and away my favorite bit here and I think with some solid drums it could be a cool, simple groove.
