Who's going to be the new bad guy? There are a lot of names buzzing around in the room, for example Galactus or Doctor Doom from the Fantastic Four universe. I'm not sure about Galatus, I don't want to go into that now, because this rumor is a bit older. I would like to deal rather with newer ones. Recently there has been a rumour that Doctor Doom might become the new villain on earth and similar to Black Panther and Vakanda, Doctor Doom also has his own state where he is the head and he could be introduced on the side.

I definitely believe that one day we will be presented with Doctor Doom and that he will probably make hell of earth too, but not in Phase 4 either. I consider that very unlikely. As I said before, Marvel has already planned very far into the future and Roger Wardell, some one where you still don't know exactly who is behind the twitter account, has leaked really good informations that become always true, in the past.

He recently tweeted again that Marvel has so much on his agenda and why should they introduce the Fantastic Four and Doctor Doom now? That's why it's quite unlikely that we'll meet Doctor Doom in Phase 4. However, I can imagine very well that he will also become a big bad guy in the coming years at the MCU, at the latest when the Fantastic Four are in the game, maybe in Phase 5.

Another name that is being discussed in circles for a villain on earth right now is Norman Osborn. I already talked about him and according to new informations and rumours Norman Osborn should already be introduced in Spider-Man 2 Far from Home. Now he's supposed to become the Green Goblin and he's not only supposed to be the bad guy for a movie, no he's supposed to make the life difficult for the superheroes on earth in the future. But Sony and Marvel have to extend their deal first.

Another film in the Spider-Man universe with Tom Holland is planned, but after that it's over and the usual trilogy as we are used from Marvel is finished. According to the old deal, the connection between the MCU and Sony, i.e. Spider-Man in the MCU, is to be or will be negotiated for even more. So there is also the rumour that Sony absolutely wants that Venom to exist in the MCU in the future and appear in Spider-Man 3.

Marvel's Kevin Feige doesn't want this because all other movies like Morbius and Sony's own planned Spider-Man Universe movies would have to be included in the MCU. We don't know yet what the deal will include but hey, it gets interesting!
