A Ramble on Dystopian AI and The Daily Photos.
A Ramble on Dystopian AI and The Daily Photos.
What's good, friends?
Glad you are back again. :D
Lately, I have been pondering a lot about AI. I've been reading different stories about it, and interviews with people who are developing in this sphere.
The problem with AI is that it's not as cute as people think. AI is like Usain Bolt or Superman, you can't really compete with those kind of talents. Head over to an NFL game and watch the Buffalo Bills vs. the Baltimore Ravens; those guys are mortal. They can't do much more than catch and throw and catch and throw and catch and throw and catch and throw. You can't compete with that. But AI can do much more than that; AI can run much faster, it can catch and throw much better, and it can run much, much longer. And it doesn't need to stop to take a break, it just keeps going. That's the problem with AI, it is not mortal, not limited by the same physical and mental constraints as us flesh bags are.
How do we fit into a dystopian society run by an AI? AI would surely structure it society much different from we structure ours. Being the dominant life on this planet, much like we once were, it would establish its own society, a framework that makes sense for the way it functions, much the same way we did. But ours took thousands of years to develop. For AI, they can develop and change and reiterate, their society, in a matter of seconds. Can we adapt and evolve to meet this?
I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about augmenting human intelligence with cyber implants, much like what they're doing with neural link. I personally feel if we are going to compete with the AI ALPA species, we need to have a better competitive edge, and that might be augmenting, the mind and mind, with advanced processing powers, and cyber implants.
These truly are the days we are in the garden of Eden. The future is going to be a wild place when we step outside the gates.
Anyways that's my ramble for today let's get you the photos.
The Daily Photos
This morning I set out early as I crashed early the night before, the moon was still shining bright with its slim smile and the sky.
I played with another one of these photos a bit. You can still see the moon in the distance.
Yesterday also out for a drive around the city. I took a few photos and I was going to go to the top of Son Tra Mountain. When I got there they asked me for a health declaration, and as I was filling out the form someone came and leaned on my bike, knocking it over, breaking my side view mirror, and spilling gas out of my tank. Needless to say this kind of put a wet blanket on my adventurous spirit lol.
I did stop on the mountainside to take a picture of our lovely city, Danang.
The jungle is slowly encroaching to take back land that was once its own.
I also, for some reason, find the skeleton structure of buildings interesting. This one reminds me of the spinal column, with its rib cage spread open, waiting to be filled with the flesh filled organs of citizens.
In these underbridge photos, just the raw of gritty nature of them.
Another thing I enjoy about the city, is finding random playing cards strewn about the ground. I imagine people toss these when they lose. If you watch the TV show "Alice in Borderland", you will know that the 10 of hearts, is a hard card to get.
Mental note to do a photo shoot with playing cards...
Also fall is approaching, and with it comes the leaves. For some reason I also enjoy taking pictures of sidewalks as they're covered with leaves.
They feel kind of magical. Like a spell book or a casting stone awaiting the right summoning words to unleash the demon.
Well dear friends thank you for joining me today. I hope you don't find my stories of dystopian future is too bleak for you. We do not know what the future holds, it could be quite the opposite...
If you have any questions or comments, leave them down below and I hope your day is awesome!
Much love~

Your words about AI remind me of the TV news I watched recently. It is designed with enhanced features and similar movement to human now. I was surprised to see the way it run and jump, moving flexible and easily through the edges of the obstacles. Im wondering if we can live in peace with AI like some science fiction movies
Me too, I wonder about what the future holds for these crazy robots Will they be friends or foe... I mean science-fiction, is now a science fact, right?
Have a !PIZZA and some !LUV :D

One one hand I can see huge benefits of having them but on the other hand, there are a lot of risks involved. Let keep our mind open and see what future is holding for us.
lol, it is a gamble indeed is... Who knows if there going to help us or hurt us. Glad to hear though you have an open mind 👍❤️
