This is Deadlife with Illuminate the Dark. The meme is basically synthwave music that you can play with the game Mechwarrior. People make mixes of this type of music for various factions of mechwarriors.
This is Mega Drive with Threat Signal Loss. I don't play the game mechwarrior but it seems like this style of synthwave has become quite popular because of it. Imagine being in a huge mechwarrior suit fighting others to this music.
This is Tokyo Rose with Armageddon. Eventually I might try and play this game to some of these mixes that people are putting out to see how well the game goes with the music.
It looks like the actual music for the game doesn't exist and somehow synthwave became the soundtrack for all the fans.

cloud sourcing a sound track haha I always liked the radio stations on GTA
I missed out on the GTA stuff, I was more of a blizzard gamer with star craft and diablo 1-3. Their music was pretty good but I did blast a bunch of heavy metal for diablo 2. No more gaming for me other than playing in the doll house with my daughter lol.
