Mi reporte de Actifict: noviembre 5 2024 Catrinas Day | Día de catrinas
Hello friends of actifit, this week was celebrated the day of the dead better known in my country as the Day of the Dead where people remember with affection and sometimes with nostalgia what was the life of a loved one, many people place altars in their homes with photographs of the deceased, candles and flowers all this to honor their memory and thank them for their passage through our lives.
In my family my grandmother was the one who had this custom, every year she bought big candles and many flowers, she dedicated some time to talk with her dead relatives and ask them for help, many times I saw her cry, but as she got older she forgot this ritual until she stopped doing it, I loved to do this when I was little I would kneel beside her and I would stay in silence just to accompany her, besides I was impressed to see my grandmother sensitive and vulnerable crying, this was very strange in her because she was always a woman with a strong character.
Hola amigos de actifit, esta semana se celebró el día de los difuntos mejor conocido en mi país como el Día de los Muertos en donde se recuerda con cariño y a veces con nostalgia lo que fue la vida de algún ser querido, muchas personas colocan altares en sus casas con las fotografías de los difuntos, velas y flores todo eso para rendir honor a su memoria y agradecerles su paso por nuestras vidas.
En mi familia mi abuela era la que tenía esta costumbre, todos los años compraba velones grandes y muchas flores, dedicaba un tiempo para conversar con sus familiares muertos y pedirles ayuda, muchas veces la vi llorar, pero al ir avanzando en edad fue olvidando este ritual hasta dejar de hacerlo, hacer esto me encantaba de pequeña yo me arrodillaba a su lado y me quedaba en silencio solo para acompañarla además me impresionaba ver a mi abuela sensible y vulnerable llorando, esto era muy extraño en ella porque siempre fue una mujer de carácter fuerte.
This year I experienced something different with my gym mates, we all agreed to wear headbands and hair arrangements as well as makeup alluding to this date, although the catrinas are part of the Mexican culture where they do parades and big parties all over the country, we adapt to everything as long as we can have a good time and look like queens.
I'm going to be honest, both the headband I wear and the stones I have on my face were details that I borrowed and gave as gifts from my colleagues; they have been very friendly with me. I appreciate and value their support. As you can see, we are very sweaty in the pictures, because we had just finished dancing. Finally, I would like to say a prayer for all the deceased members of their families, hoping they rest in peace and thanking them for everything they gave us in life.
Este año viví algo diferente con mis compañeras de gimnasio, toda nos pusimos de acuerdo para llevar tanto cintillos y arreglos en el cabello como maquillaje alusivo a esta fecha, aunque las catrinas son parte de la cultura mexicana donde hacen desfiles y grandes fiestas en todo ese país, nosotras nos adaptamos a todo siempre y cuando la podamos pasar bien y lucir como reinas.
Les voy a ser sinceros, tanto el cintillo que uso como las piedras que tengo en mi rostro fueron detalles que me prestaron y regalaron mis compañeras; ellas han sido muy amigables conmigo. Aprecio y valoro mucho su apoyo. Como pueden ver, estamos bien sudadas en las fotos, porque acabábamos de bailar. Para finalizar, quiero elevar una oración por todos los difuntos de sus familiares, esperando que descansen en paz y agradecerles todo lo que nos dieron en vida.

¡Holaaaaa! te leo y me siento que vuelvo en el tiempo, es verdad, antes la gente hacía eso de los velones, lo había olvidado por completo. Y uno ahora y qué disfrazándose, que poco serias nos hemos vuelto jajaja.
Pues estuvo genial la idea en el Gym, además de cumplir con el ejercicio, disfrutaron un rato diferente. Te quedó cool el arreglo que te pusieron jajaja ustedes no dan miedo, estaban muy fashión jaja pero eso es hasta mejor. No me imagino que se inventarán pa’ diciembre x’D.
