My Actifit Report Card: October 17, 2023

Yesterday I logged 11,288 steps on @actifit, roughly 1,200 steps more than my daily 10K step goal. I went up to Great Barrington to pick up some buds and decided to hike around the Appalachian trail in the Berkshires for a little bit with the pups. It was a nice hike, but overall a bad idea, as the ticks were out in full force. I pulled about 30 off the dogs and myself. They love to hang out in the fallen, damp leaves and jump onto anyone passing by. The pups enjoyed the walk though! When I got home I spent some time setting up the “nursery” for the baby Black Copper Maran chicks that were scheduled to arrive this morning. I woke up today and picked them up at the Post office. Above you can see one of the chicks lookin’ all cute and fluffy for the camera. More pictures and videos to come…
