Hello creative friends

Greetings to you all creative friends and hive at large, it's a beautiful day out here and I'm having a great time in my sewing room, I will be sharing with you the making of this beautiful rose flower I made using satin ribbon.

Christmas is just around the corner and I have been thinking of how to create something nice for the season, it's been awhile that I have wanted to make this beautiful flower and today I finally made it and the outcome was so nice and beautiful.

Let me take you through the process of making this beautiful rose.

From my ribbon, I used my card to take the measurements which was wrapped round the card 9 times

It was cut out on both sides to have 9 pieces.

One of it was taken as I work on it, it was folded in at one end.

The pointed end was folded to the middle as well.

The same was repeated on the other side as well

It was clue together with a lighter to make it stay firm

I repeated the same process on the other 8 pieces and they were all done.

Using my glue gun, I glue the pieces together at the center of each piece.

All the pieces were clued together as seen below.

I put the glue on the pieces and rolled it together to the last piece.

This is what it looks like after applying the glue.

I took a little and tiny stick, wrap a red bias strip on it as I also apply gum on it and inserted it to the middle of the rose I made.

This is the final and beautiful outcome, I hope you like how it looks.
