Today I wanted to enjoy a nice IIPA for this #beersaturday!

Beer Saturday IIPA

This Beer Saturday was one that I was looking forward to. There's been all kinds of sickness and shit going around the house and the neighbors that I just wanted to break free from it and enjoy a beer and relax lol

When I was at the store I was on the look out for beers that I haven't tried before and I've been going with a lot of ones that were New Hampshire brewed but this one stuck out to me since it wasn't New Hampshire brewed!

This one is also funny in that guess who helped me out with this one!? The little man! Lol he saw me taking a picture of the beer and the glass for the #beersaturday post and asked if he could help me take a cool picture for it. I said sure! What do you think would look interesting? He said let's get a picture of you pouring it into the glass!

Damn I think he's getting a little too old LOL helping me out with something that's more adult than he realizes. Broke my heart a little bit!

The beer poured like a dream though, love getting a nice IPA. I guess this one is technically a double IPA. Let me see what the other I means in IIPA... Alright now I'm edumicated on IIPA versus IPA source and it's a stronger IPA. Stronger sounds and tastes good to me! Lol

What was good about this brew was that it was brewed in Vermont! I've had a number of Vermont beers but it's been a little while since I've indulged in a Vermont beer so once I saw that it was Vermont and it was an IPA, I was game to give it a try.

The beer was definitely delicious and delivered the normal IPA bitterness and flavors but this one was stronger, which I guess is a moniker of the IIPA versus traditional IPA. I enjoyed every moment of it though that's for sure! It went down smooth and almost tempted me for a second one but it's been a long time since I've had more than one beer in a night so I knew I wasn't going to tempt fate lol especially with people around me not feeling well! No need to add to the misery lol

The can was also cool, I don't know if I see too many cans that are solid yellow but the art on it is often what gets me as well. I've seen some cans that are New Hampshire or Vermont brewed but they don't have anything interesting on the can or they have art on it that looks like shit so I pass it up for something that looks cooler. Maybe I'll try and get into the beer can art industry! Lol
