Playing RDR2 for the First Time

Greetings! Welcome to my gaming blog! Today I tried something new, the Red Dead Redemtion 2 game. I saw enough amazing screenshots about this game, and I admit, I fell in love with it. I purchased this game last month, but I haven't had the time to try it yet. So today, I tried it. I hope you enjoy the screenshots.

It all begins in a house on a snowy mountain called Colter. I am not familiar with the people that are with me inside the (seems like abandoned) house at first, or I might forget about them from the first cutscene. But, I think it's okay; I planned to explore a bit and get used to the photo mode during my first gameplay.

I stepped outside the house where I began, and the ice outside was so thick it reached my knees! Mr. Pearson and Bill Williamson need to speak to me, but I ignore that quest for a while. I wanted to explore and enjoy the world first.

The realism that I experienced with the ice and the track that I left behind amaze me. My! I love it!

After walking for a while, I went back to the house with a man standing who seemed to be guarding and warming his body. I went inside to meet Bill Williamson, supposed to be the old pal of Arthur. There's even the Dutch; he gave me a shotgun, I think. So they were talking about revenge. The Dutch seem really angry.

I don't know what happened, and I have no idea what we were going to do by heading southwest. I just follow the Dutch and four other others.

Take a selfie; the view on the top of the snowy mountain was beautiful!

When the Dutch said, Let's go on foot, I had no idea how to get down from the horse. Took me a few tries. LOL

Arthur and the Dutch.

When we reached the designated area, things get bloody. Shooting time. I let the Dutch make the first move, and things started to get noisy. Gun shooting! It took me a while to join the fight because I had no idea how to shoot at first. haha

I can shoot through the wall! There was this enemy hiding behind the wall. I tried shooting the wall just to see if the bullet went through, and it did!

More enemies coming from the forest. We hunt them down until the last one of them!

We killed 21 enemies today in Ewing Basin. I spent some time collecting all the loot from the enemies's corpses.

The Dutch ordered us to search for some dynamite, and we found it.

Then, we followed the Dutch and went up to the mountain after we settled everything in that place. No one was killed; Dutch, Bill, Javier, Lenny, Micah, and I came back alive.

When we reached halfway, we stumbled upon an enemy on the horse, so I chased him down, made him dismount from his horse, and then tied him using a rope. The snow struck really hard.

It took me a while to reach Colter with the enemy tied up.

When I reached Colter, I lifted the tied enemy onto my shoulder and brought him to Dutch, alive. The gang there took care of everything, and the mission was completed

So today mission was a success. My objective to become familiar with the game was achieved, but I think that's just a scratch on the surface of the game. I am very happy with the game; so far, so good. But that's enough for today. I appreciate your time and support for my blog. Have a nice day and goodbye!

Note: All photos were screenshots taken by me while playing the Red Dead Redemption 2 game. My thumbnail was made by PixeLab mobile apps.
