Talk about the perfect timing for a release. Fresh off the heals of Shenseea releasing her single “Lick” featuring Megan the Stallion and many in the dancehall space including Mr Vegas putting the song on blast. Vegas now has a remix / sampled version of his hit “Heads High” which is basically promoting the opposite of the “Lick” song. I can see DJs having some real fun mixing the two songs, “Lick” and then “ “Heads High”… in that order with the latter getting more forward.

What I like about this remix or should I say new song is that they actually brought Mr Vegas into the mix not just a sample with royalties but he is actually in the music video. And the only English speaker in the song besides FatMan Scoop. The song gives me the vibes of when parties were real fun as it has some potent formulas: an uptempo dancehall Riddim, Spanish artistes, A dancehall classic on sample and Fatman Scoop to hype it up and bring it together. These Reggaeton artstie have huge followings and I’m sure Mr Vegas just got a HUGE bonus check and many more to come! No doubt this is a monster hit.

Ps: No doubt Mr Vegas will get some heat for being in a video with an man dolled up
like a woman. ( though he was not in the seem scene, it’s just what the culture likes to do and find things to gossip about). But knowing Vegas, he will play it off well and make an even bigger impact.

Take a listen below.

You have a point there. Some of these sampled remixes feel a bit forced sometimes, with people just doing it because that's what's "in" right now.
This remix doesn't do that and feels naturals with good vibes.

Yeah man, this one will be on the parties for years to come. Only wish I knew what the Spanish dudes were saying…. We might be surprised.

Nice Reggaeton Refix, but f...the chi chi man, and dancing of with the kid...this is a huge No-No. The Devil tryin' to infiltrate everywhere (Transgender Agenda), not just gossip.

Fi real, on that deeper level. The agenda! This sister bredda get a whole scene to Rahtid. If him was in there few times I’d be like yeah yeah but a showcase 😂

Yo, that TOK, classic. The freedom days of dancehall. I think that was the Sashi Riddim?

Yes Bredda, different bad-minded agendas (behind the scenes).
Gotta be aware. I like you mentioning the agenda in your
Hold On-Lyrics. Vocals reached.😉

Ps: finish the recording just waiting on a wav of the Riddim as some things need to turn up.

If you you want the vocals from now let me know.

This is indeed a poppin' song! Hope to hear this one on local radios and being played by local dj's, as this is one I'm definitely dancing on. Really nostalgic sound.
