Muchos de los libros que suelo leer vienen por recomendaciones que veo en BookTok. Hay varias creadoras de contenido con la cual me identifico, ya que les gustan libros similares que a mí y tomo de ellas recomendaciones para poder escoger mis próximas lecturas. En esta oportunidad decidí leer una historia que nació en Wattpad, que actualmente tiene dos libros publicados en el editorial llamados las cadenas del rey y el perfume del rey. Yo venía con expectativas un poco altas, ya que era como una fantasía romántica y la verdad es que me hablaron muy bien de cierto protagonista masculino de Cabello rubio. No sabía mucho del mundo casi entro un poco a ciegas y creo que eso fue bueno porque me encontré con mucha sorpresa y también tengo opiniones bastante largas con respecto a esta historia la cual adelanto me gustó, pero espera un poco más así que hoy le voy a comentar un poco qué tal me pareció el libro el perfume del rey.

Many of the books I read come from recommendations I see on BookTok. There are several content creators with whom I identify, since they like similar books as me and I take from them recommendations to choose my next readings. This time I decided to read a story that was born on Wattpad, which currently has two books published on the publisher called the king's chains and the king's perfume. I came with expectations a little high, since it was like a romantic fantasy and the truth is that I was spoken very well of a certain male protagonist of Blonde Hair. I didn't know much about the world I almost went in a little blind and I think that was good because I found a lot of surprises and I also have quite long opinions about this story which I liked, but wait a little longer so today I'm going to tell you a little about how I found the book the king's perfume.

Al principio nos narra un poco de construcción de mundo, nos explican los años en los cuales se basan que no sería el calendario tradicional de 12 meses, sino otro un poco más complicado que honestamente ni al caso. También nos explican cómo están divididos los reinos y qué guerras fueron importantes en el pasado para saber cuáles reinos estaban aliados y cuáles enemistados . La historia se centra en una protagonista llamada Emily Malhore, que vive en el reino de "Mishnock". Emily es hija de unos perfumistas que trabajan directamente con la corona, entonces digamos que está en una clase media alta sin demasiados lujos pero bastante cómoda. Emily es una protagonista que yo describiría como un saco de sal, ya que no cae mal, pero le pasan demasiadas cosas malas y tiene una muy mala suerte, siento que la primera mitad del libro es todo lo malo que le puede pasar, a Emily le pasa, pero como puede se salva aunque sufriendo mucho en el intento.

At the beginning we are told a bit of world building, they explain the years on which they are based which would not be the traditional 12 month calendar, but another one a bit more complicated that honestly is not even relevant. The story focuses on a protagonist named Emily Malhore, who lives in the kingdom of “Mishnock”. Emily is the daughter of perfumers who work directly with the crown, so let's say she is in an upper middle class without too many luxuries but quite comfortable. Emily is a protagonist that I would describe as a sack of salt, since she doesn't fall badly, but too many bad things happen to her and she has a very bad luck, I feel that the first half of the book is everything bad that can happen to her, to Emily happens to her, but as she can she saves herself although suffering a lot in the attempt.

Siento que estos libros son bastante largos para mi gusto con respecto a un libro de romance netamente, pero es entretenido de leer. Como les dije, esta historia se centra en Emily, quien vive en una familia de cinco integrantes, contando a ella, que al inicio del libro está estudiando y todavía no piensa muy concretamente en su futuro. Emily no tiene novio, pero tiene una amiga que la meten ciertos problemas también. Da la casualidad que en un problema que tuvo Emily en la cual termina en prisión, la primera de tantas, ella conoce al príncipe Stefan Denavritz. Stefan y Emily comienzan como una relación, un cortejo, bastante lindo yo la verdad no sabía por qué nos presentaban a este personaje tan lindo tan perfecto tan príncipe tan caballero y ya yo sabía que había otro interés amoroso y no entendía por qué nos hacían enamorarnos de este Stefan al príncipe principio. Pero entre varias desgracias de Emily ella termina yendo varias veces al reino enemigo que sería el reino Lacrontte. Este reino está totalmente en guerra con Mishnock y también quiere como conquistar la mayor parte del territorio posible simplemente para expandirse, ellos se creen los mejores, se creen superiores y tienen un rey llamado Magnus Lacrontte que es bastante arrogante.

I feel that these books are rather long for my taste with respect to a pure romance book, but it is entertaining to read. As I told you, this story focuses on Emily, who lives in a family of five, counting her, who at the beginning of the book is studying and still not thinking very concretely about her future. Emily doesn't have a boyfriend, but she has a friend who gets her into some trouble as well. It so happens that in a problem that Emily had in which she ends up in prison, the first of many, she meets prince Stefan Denavritz. Stefan and Emily begin as a relationship, a courtship, quite cute I really did not know why we were introduced to this character so cute so perfect so prince so gentlemanly and I already knew that there was another love interest and did not understand why they made us fall in love with this Stefan to the prince principle. But between several misfortunes of Emily she ends up going several times to the enemy kingdom which would be the Lacrontte kingdom. This kingdom is totally at war with Mishnock and also wants to conquer as much territory as possible simply to expand, they think they are the best, they think they are superior and they have a king named Magnus Lacrontte who is quite arrogant.

Yo no quería juzgar a un libro por su portada por así decirlo con respecto a Magnus porque ya he leído muchos libros en donde hay un protagonista moralmente gris que honestamente es antipático, pero que resulta tener otra cara, pero si debo decir que Magnus es demasiado insoportable al principio creo que es el protagonista masculino más insoportable que he leído y lo único bueno es que daba risa y creo que por eso también pude verlo con otros ojos sin llegar a enamorarme todavía de él. En este primer libro pasan muchas cosas con Emily, los viajes hacia el reino enemigo, su romance con Stefan, su amistad que se termina, las amistades que comienza y creo que es un libro muy entretenido a pesar de qué es bastante largo, donde honestamente no les puedo contar demasiado simplemente quiero hablar de estos tres protagonistas principales para no hacerles spoilers de la trama. Llega un punto del libro creo que por la mitad más o menos o después de la donde Emily queda secuestrada por el reino enemigo y para sobrevivir debe mentir sobre su identidad, ella no revela que es la novia de Stefan para que no le pase nada malo, ya que termina quedándose en el castillo de Magnus para poder sobrevivir insisto. Ahí Magnus y Emily comienzan a ser amigos por así decirlo, como les dije, Lacrontte es muy insoportable pero demasiado divertido.

I did not want to judge a book by its cover so to speak with respect to Magnus because I have already read many books where there is a morally gray protagonist who honestly is unpleasant, but it turns out to have another face, but if I must say that Magnus is too unbearable at first I think he is the most unbearable male protagonist I've read and the only good thing is that he gave laughter and I think that's why I could also see him with other eyes without falling in love with him yet. In this first book many things happen with Emily, the trips to the enemy kingdom, her romance with Stefan, their friendship that ends, the friendships that begins and I think it is a very entertaining book even though it is quite long, where I honestly can not tell you too much I just want to talk about these three main characters to avoid spoilers of the plot. There comes a point in the book I think about halfway or so or after the where Emily is kidnapped by the enemy kingdom and to survive she must lie about her identity, she does not reveal that she is Stefan's girlfriend so that nothing bad happens to her, and she ends up staying in Magnus's castle to survive I insist. There Magnus and Emily start to become friends so to speak, as I told you, Lacrontte is very unbearable but too funny.

Creo que el final de este libro es uno que no te ves venir o por lo menos yo no me lo voy a venir, como hay un personaje que cambia por completo su personalidad, se transforma y el mundo a Emily definitivamente se le viene abajo. Este es un final que nos deja con ganas de saber que va a ser Emily para poder salir de este desastre, cuál serán los movimientos de Stefan y obviamente que va a pasar con Magnus. Si bien los sentí muy largo porque déjeme decirles que de fantasía esto no tiene nada, para mí era un libro de romance ambientado en un mundo único y es por eso que lo sentí largo, es necesario rescatar que la historia es muy divertida, entretenida y quiere saber qué va a pasar a continuación. Recuerdo que este libro me lo leí en poquitos días, creo que máximo dos días me tomo leerlo y me devoré la segunda parte que espero traerles en reseña para la semana que viene, nos leemos pronto!

I think the ending of this book is one that you don't see coming or at least I won't, as there is a character that completely changes her personality, she transforms and Emily's world definitely comes crashing down on her. This is an ending that leaves us wanting to know what Emily is going to do to get out of this disaster, what Stefan's moves will be and obviously what is going to happen with Magnus. While I felt them very long because let me tell you that fantasy this has nothing, for me it was a romance book set in a unique world and that's why I felt it long, it is necessary to rescue that the story is very funny, entertaining and want to know what will happen next. I remember that I read this book in a few days, I think it took me a maximum of two days to read it and I devoured the second part which I hope to bring you a review for next week, see you soon!
