A mi me gusta compartir contenido de libros por orden de lectura y una vez que termino una saga. Pero la semana pasada les compartí un libro que me encantó demasiada, del cual su segunda parte no le he podido leer y justamente esta semana voy a volver a hacer lo mismo. Debido a todo el Boom de Alas de Sangre, que si bien es un libro que he leído, no les he comentado mis opiniones, hay muchas personas que comenzaron a recomendar libros donde aparecieron algunos dragones o por lo menos uno. En estas recomendaciones me aparecio “El libro de Azrael” que tenían las características de ser un libro de fantasía, con enemies to lovers y que tenía criaturas un poco particulares. La verdad es que desde primer momento me convenció, pero la cereza del pastel es que en este libro la villana es la mujer, así que yo no podía esperar demasiado para poder leerlo y aquí les cuento qué tal me pareció.

But last week I shared with you a book that I loved too much, but I haven't been able to read the second part of it and this week I'm going to do the same thing again. Due to all the Wings of Blood Boom, that although it is a book that I have read, I have not commented my opinions, there are many people who began to recommend books where some dragons appeared or at least one. In these recommendations I found “The Book of Azrael” which had the characteristics of being a fantasy book, with enemies to lovers and that had creatures a little particular. The truth is that from the first moment I was convinced, but the icing on the cake is that in this book the villain is the woman, so I could not wait too long to read it and here I tell you how I found it.

En este libro conocemos la historia de Dianna, una chica que sacrificó su vida mortal para salvar a su hermana Gabby, debido a que en el mundo humano hace un montón de años cayó una plaga provocada por la caída de los antiguos dioses y de ese mundo donde ellos vivían. El caso es que Dianna, le vendió como su alma al diablo, ella le dio su vida mortal a Kaden, digamos que es un demonio o algo así que básicamente le hizo el “favor” de transformarla con el objetivo de que ella trabajara para él y su condición fue que su hermana viviera una vida normal. El caso es que mientras Dianna le toca hacer el trabajo sucio de este, especie de rey, malvado, su hermana trata de llevar pida una vida normal, aunque ella también es inmortal pero sin ningún poder aparente. Por otro lado tenemos a Liam o el rey de los dioses llamado Samkiel, pero para efectos de mejor entendimientos vamos a seguir llamándolo Liam. Este Dios es conocido como el destructor de mundos ya que se supone que debido a él fue que el mundo donde ellos vivían desapareció, se desmoronó y cayó en pedazos en la tierra o cerca de la tierra algo así. Liam estaba dormido pero la muerte de uno de los suyos lo hace volver encontrándose con un mundo muy moderno y una amenaza latente, un ig’morruthen, o mejor dicho: Dianna.

In this book we know the story of Dianna, a girl who sacrificed her mortal life to save her sister Gabby, because in the human world a lot of years ago fell a plague caused by the fall of the old gods and the world where they lived. The thing is that Dianna sold her soul to the devil, she gave her mortal life to Kaden, let's say he is a demon or something like that, who basically did her the “favor” of transforming her with the objective that she would work for him and his condition was that her sister would live a normal life. The thing is that while Dianna has to do the dirty work of this, kind of king, evil, her sister tries to lead a normal life, although she is also immortal but without any apparent power. On the other hand we have Liam or the king of the gods called Samkiel, but for the purpose of better understanding we will continue calling him Liam. This God is known as the destroyer of worlds since it is supposed that because of him was that the world where they lived disappeared, crumbled and fell in pieces on earth or near earth something like that. Liam was asleep but the death of one of his own makes him come back to find a very modern world and a latent threat, an ig'morruthen, or rather: Dianna.

Cómo les comenté Dianna es un demonio ig’morruthen, de una raza antigua, aunque más adelante con nos dan a entender que ella es como uno de estos demonios entrecomillas originales o por lo menos muy asemejado a lo que ellos eran. Se podría decir que ellos eran como básicamente unos jinetes del apocalipsis una cosa así, eran como unos Reyes demoniacos bastante raros de los que por ahora no sabemos demasiado sólo que en el pasado el padre de Liam quien era el rey de los dioses los mató. Esta raza de la que Dianna es como el enemigo número uno de los dioses, estos se odian y se mataban entre sí. Y obviamente no fue por una obra de caridad ni algo bonito que Samkiel conoce a Dianna sino que ella es encargada de robarle algo a él de buscar algo un libro mejor dicho,ella se infiltra en el palacio de los dioses pero es atrapada. Liam al ver la forma de ella, que es como parecida a un dragón cuando se transforma, obviamente se alarma y es por eso que usando su poder la captura y la secuestran tratando de sacarle información. Dianna se resiste durante días y al final uno de sus secuaces o sus compañeros la rescata pero en ese momento cuando ya es libre ella decide voltearse y arriesgarse por una vez en su vida revelarse a Kaden y salva al guardián de la Mano que la estaba custodiando para llevarlo junto con Liam y hacer un trato.

As I told you Dianna is an ig'morruthen demon, of an ancient race, although later on we are given to understand that she is like one of these original demons or at least very similar to what they were. You could say that they were like basically like horsemen of the apocalypse kind of thing, they were like some pretty weird demonic Kings that for now we don't know too much about only that in the past Liam's father who was the king of the gods killed them. This race that Dianna is like the number one enemy of the gods, these hated each other and killed each other. And obviously it was not for a charity or something nice that Samkiel meets Dianna but she is charged with stealing something from him to find something a book rather, she infiltrates the palace of the gods but is caught. Liam seeing her form, which is like a dragon when she transforms, is obviously alarmed and that's why using his power he captures her and kidnaps her trying to get information out of her. Dianna resists for days and in the end one of her henchmen or her companions rescues her but at that moment when she is already free she decides to turn around and risk for once in her life to reveal herself to Kaden and saves the guardian of the Hand who was guarding her to take him along with Liam and make a deal.

Liam y Dianna llegan como a la al trato de ayudarse a ponerle fin a Kaden, el esta buscando como traer mas demonios y también busca el libro de Azrael, que supuestamente tiene los secretos para poder matar a este hombre y para hacer un poco de bastantes desastres. al principio Dianna y Liam no se soportaban, se odiaban, porque evidentemente son enemigos naturales. Pero la verdad es que llega un punto en donde se hacen amigos y tratan de compartir sentimientos de las cosas que han pasado a lo largo de su vida y posteriormente evidentemente se enamoran. Me encanta llegar a ese punto fue demasiado emocionante incluso, ver los celos de Dianna. Su personalidad a mí me encanta, el carácter que tiene esa muje fue demasiado, es una de las mejores protagonistas femeninas que he leído en mi vida, es perfecta. Es muy similar a Jude del príncipe cruel, eso me gustó, mucho también tiene un toquecito de Aelin de Trono de Cristal. Ella me tenía demasiado emocionada la amé durante todo el libro nunca la odié y eso lo pone en un Top bastante alto. Por otro lado también tenemos al Liam que no podemos dejar atrás porque este hombre también lo es todo, es perfecto me encanta, y aunque ella es la villana él tampoco es un chico bueno entonces no es como que los papeles se voltean del todo simplemente ella es muy malvada y él es bastante serio, bastante decidido a pesar de ser del bando de los buenos básicamente.

Liam and Dianna come to the deal to help each other put an end to Kaden, he is looking for how to bring more demons and also looking for the book of Azrael, which supposedly has the secrets to be able to kill this man and to make quite a few disasters. At the beginning Dianna and Liam could not stand each other, they hated each other, because obviously they are natural enemies. But the truth is that there comes a point where they become friends and try to share feelings of the things that have happened throughout their lives and later they obviously fall in love. I love getting to that point it was too exciting even, seeing Dianna's jealousy. Her personality to me I love it, the character that woman has was too much, she is one of the best female protagonists I have ever read, she is perfect. She is very similar to Jude from the cruel prince, I liked that, she also has a little touch of Aelin from Throne of Glass. She had me too excited I loved her throughout the book I never hated her and that puts it in a pretty high Top. On the other hand we also have Liam who we can't leave behind because this man is also everything, he's perfect I love him, and even though she's the villain he's not a good guy either so it's not like the roles are flipped at all she's just very evil.

Y bien después de unas muchas aventuras entre este dúo dinámico al final el libro tuvo un plot twist bastante fuerte que no me lo esperaba, o sea me esperaba algo y eso pasó, pero lo que pasó después me dejó loca, yo no estaba preparada psicológicamente para que Dianna terminara volviéndose loca por así decirlo con algo que pasa, ella termina un poco desquiciada y no es para menos. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con ella, aunque no hizo nada malo, ojo si siento que el inicio del segundo libro va a ser un poco complicado debido a lo que pasó en este final y obviamente no le voy a decir que es, porque sería darles spoiler y este libro es demasiado bueno como para lanzarlo. Simplemente, les quiero decir que esto es una de las mejores mejores mejores lecturas de este año 2024, está por encima que amanecer de onyx, me encantó, no conocía la autora me gustó muchísimo como escribía y estoy loca por leer la continuación. De hecho ya la tengo pero me enteré que es la primera parte y supuestamente también termina bastante Heavy y yo quiero esperar a que salga como la otra parte del segundo del segundo libro o sea creo que es muy largo y por eso lo dividieron en dos entonces quiero que salga esa segunda parte pero no sé si pueda esperar demasiado más para saber qué pasa después. Así que hasta aquí la reseña de hoy, espero que les haya encantado conocer mis opiniones y háganse el favor de leer este libro que después me lo van a agradecer, nos leemos pronto!

And well after a lot of adventures between this dynamic duo at the end the book had a pretty strong plot twist that I did not expect, I mean I was expecting something and that happened, but what happened next left me crazy, I was not prepared psychologically for Dianna to end up going crazy so to speak with something that happens, she ends up a little unhinged and not for less. I totally agree with her, even though she didn't do anything wrong, mind you I do feel that the beginning of the second book is going to be a bit complicated because of what happened in this ending and obviously I'm not going to tell you what it is because it would be giving you spoilers and this book is too good to throw in. I just want to tell you that this is one of the best best best reads of this year 2024, it's above dawn of onyx, I loved it, I didn't know the author I really liked her writing and I'm crazy to read the sequel. In fact I already have it but I found out that it is the first part and supposedly it also ends pretty Heavy and I want to wait for it to come out as the other part of the second part of the second book or I think it is very long and that's why they divided it in two so I want that second part to come out but I don't know if I can wait too much longer to know what happens next.
