City or Country?

Melbourne, Australia.

I like both Camping in the woods and big city breaks!

The country camping is great for getting away from it all. All the hustle and bustle of main stream work can be draining and soul destroying. It is good to escape, recharge, reconnect with nature, slow down and leave the pressure of the outside world behind. While camping I often wonder what it would have been like 100s of years ago just getting by on what ever is around. It is cheaper too, so you can save a few of those hard earned dollars.

South West Rocks, New South Wales.

We don't camp much anymore. I used to have all the gear for a long stay camp when my son was growing up but it was a lot of work with set up and cleaning. More recently it was just the swag but that was only over night on our way to some where else.

So I will have to say I am more of a City holiday kind of person now, There is just so much more to do and experience. The big city's just amaze me, I am lucky to have been to quite a few over the years. New York, London, most if not all the ones in Australia. I am not sure exactly how big a town has to be, to be called a city but I think driving a lap of Australia, I visited them all.

My work as an electrician sort of turned me into a big city person but we still try to into the country side when we can.
