Look at these beauties I just ordered!

I think I have finally found a decent coin seller on Facebook and placed my first order. Hopefully, I won't get scammed!

His prices are actually pretty good and way cheaper than the collector's e-shops we have in my country. So good, I will try to resell them only to buy even more!

Here's my purchase. All old, all made of silver:

The coins are:

  • 1 drachma George A (1873)
  • 1 drachma George A (1910)
  • 10 drachma, Dimitra goddess (1930)
  • 20 drachma, King Paul (1960)

In total I paid 30 euros while in a shop they would have costed a minimum of 50!

More info and photos upon arrival in a few days. If I don't get scammed that is, lmao.

A nice score, I believe I have only one Greek coin and that is the same 20 Drachma at about the time Greece went bust. I remember the Greek banks experienced a Bail-In some 4,5 years ago. Bond holders of Greek bonds took huge haircuts and public assets got sold off and pensioners got screwed.

Yeah Greek bond holders were fucked. Pensioners well that's a totally different discussion. Most of those "screwed" were literal Ponzis but few politicians will actually admit it. In most aspects, bitconnect had better tokenomics than Greece 😂

How would you know if you're not scammed? Metallurgical analysis? Those are some nice coins, though.

By scammed I mean he might not send em at all! It would be hard to counterfeit these coins (and a waste of time considering their price) but since they are silver it's easy to check for that too with minimal harming
