Saturday Savers Club Progress, 22 Oct 2022

Hello SSC friends! Still making slow progress toward my goals this week.

Goal #3, getting a Power Up Month badge, is so close I can taste it! :)

Last week my HBD savings were at 191.050, and this week I am at 195.132. I do have some more HBD in my main account, but I'm probably going to need to pull it for groceries this month so I'd rather just leave it liquid than withdraw from savings if I can help it. So I'll probably be leaving the HBD alone this next week in an attempt to at least not lose ground. I already have enough Hive liquid to be able to finish the PUM badge, so I am leaving that as-is, too. But at least I got another 4.082 HBD in there!

My HP is over 7214k now so I'm making nice progress there which feels good. I'm not setting another number goal there, just the PUM badge, especially since I'm feeling the off-chain financial pinch again, but considering that I powered through the past couple hundred HP gains, I feel like 8k isn't so far away. :)

I think you will cruise to that 8k in no time. I think we are in for a rough ride economically, the controllers latest scam is a "cost of living crisis".

It has definitely hit here with rent and groceries but man what I am hearing out of the UK about their heat/electric bills is crazy.
And governments and corporations are just acting like this is normal and not that they're enjoying 50 (today I heard 70) year record profits.
