Circle jerk

I have rejoined the Appics blockchain recently and was abele to swap the APX tokens that I had left on Steem for the APX tokens on Telos. So far so good. But apparently, others are having problems with that swap, like @onealfa, which is or was a whale on Appics with over 400k tokens. His haven’t been swapped yet, which makes me suspicious.

Especially when you take a good look at what posts or maybe better the posts by who get the most rewards. It looks like the usual suspects once again. The Appics team, Soldier, Celestin, agent, and the ambassadors get major upvotes, by eachother. It’s really not that important what you post, but more or less if you’re part of that inner circle or not. The whales upvote themselves and eachother and make the distribution gap between the big accounts and the small ones bigger and bigger.

Off course such an economy is not sustainable and drives the price into the ground, but I guess they don’t realise that.

And the there’s another concern, curation rewards are only 25 % and downvoting is not possible, so self voting is encouraged extremely by this.

There sure is a lot of work that needs to be done to make this project a success. I will keep on posting there, just because I like photography, but I am not expecting to get big returns…
