Splinterlands chaos legion goes fully live tomorrow.

The wait is over.

We have seen the previews.

We have saved up the vouchers.

We have even stocked up on those silly credits.

The waiting is over.

The months have passed.

The moment is upon us.

For all of those players without bottomless pockets we have waited a long time to reach this point.

So what do you do now???

We have had all the time in the world to prepare for this moment and personally, I'm still torn about what to do.

I will buy packs but it will be a lot less than I had originally planned. That was to buy 2k packs.

Now it just doesn't seem worth it with the loss of momentum of the game and the huge drop in card prices from previous highs.

The real question for now is how long will the packs last on general sale.

We had all thought that they would go on day one when we were riding high on the wave of new users but i think that figure will need to be scaled back a bit since the downturn.

A lot of our buying power has taken a hit with the price of DEC and SPS tanking over the past month and the crypto market in general taking a severe downturn.

All of these factors will make a dent on the overall sales figure for the game.

The big question is how confident are you in the games continued success over the next twelve months?

2022 is going to be even bigger.

I know that the game has hit a slump after the splinterlands team killed it's momentum with some of the recent rule changes but this is just a slump rather than an end in my opinion.

Like in any bear market, this is the time to consolidate and accumulate.

I have managed to pick up a few extra plots while cards were riding high and now it is the time to max out as many of the new cards as possible or hopefully all of them.

The cheapest way to do this will be to buy them straight from the market but the allure is always to chase those elusive gold foil legendaries.

As sensible as it is to just buy the cards that i need, it's just not as much fun as opening packs.

We are all gamblers in the crypto space and these are just another high for all of us to enjoy.

That's why I will still buy more packs as soon as the markets open tomorrow and roll the dice for those rare and elusive cards.

When the game goes viral at some stage next year and i think that it will.

We will look back on these prices the same way as we are doing with the beta cards now.

The only real question should be,

How many assets can I buy?

Rather than how many should i buy. This game is still the best thing across any of the chains and being based on Hive gives it a technological advantage over anything else that is being built right now.

It just keeps getting better and better so with the right tokenomics and a strong bit of marketing, we could see the numbers explode over the next year.

I'm very excited to see the numbers.

So how many packs will sell out in the first 24 hours?

Any guesses.
