Moving up the levels one by one.
It comes back to effort.
Most things in this life do.
You don't need to be the most talented person in the room to be the best person.
As the old saying goes, " Fail to prepare. Prepare to fail."
It doesn't matter what you take on in life but turn up half arsed and expect to sail through it and you will be in for a severe shock.
Setting goals, targets, planning for success. Knowing where you are and where you are trying to get to.
Seeing what your hurdles will be along the way and being prepared to jump straight over them.
There is a reason that sports teams, businesses, governments and everybody else do so much analysis before big events.
They try to forsee what could go wrong and try to prevent them before they become real problems.
My plan is the same that it has always been. To keep building and keep growing.
Hive is a great way to do this.
All of the stats that you need for growth are right there for everybody to see.
15000 HP as payout for your posts, comments and curation.
That is almost $15k at today's prices just for a bit of writing online. Make some comments and have some fun.
It's just a matter of time before a lot more people discover our dirty little secret.
Hivebuzz is just one handy example but leostats is another. The smarter people can look at the data themselves and see what is going on every day.
At the start of the month I was 276 in terms of hive power. Just a couple of weeks later it's jumped by three places to 273. This is clear progress.
All of the effort pays off and by turning up daily I will continue to pass out the people ahead of me. I might not be as smart as them but i will be hungrier and put in the effort.
I am only following in the footsteps of the people that are even further up the chain and hav eput in more work than anybody else.
They are the ones to study and analyze if you want to be successful. See how much effort that they put in and how they stack harder than anybody else.
That is how you take on a big challenge. One level at a time and outwork the person on the level above you.
It might take years but that is where the effort comes into play. Even better if you can find faster ways to do it by analyzing all of the options for growth out there.

When you look back after reaching a certain level you will be surprised to see how far you have come so far. Little things add up over time and it becomes huge at some point. Congratulations @niallon11 and thank you for sharing this

It takes consistency and so many people lose track of that. A majority of us didn't get to these levels overnight. In fact I'm now I think 5 years on Hive and a early investor in LEO. It took capital(money), lots of time, posting and also I would say connecting and building community within the community. It takes a lot of effort but it pays off.

Nobody achieves this overnight.
Even if i came in tomorrow and bought a million hive i wouldn't have any reputation or connections.
You need to build all of the parts in sync with the others to really benefit from the system and to grow.

Totally agree Hive is a community based token which with it comes a lot of odd things many might not be use to lol. I think it's important though I feel like projects that build on hive have a very unique way to connect with others and get paid for their updates and development plans and that in itself is a powerful reason to start building and using Hive/Leo

It's not an automated comment. I use Engage which helps me manage the numerous replies and mentions I get. It includes a nice "templates" feature that saves me tons of keyboard strikes. But I still edit them manually 😅

Congrats! That is some awesome growth! yea.. I luv that I don't need to be the best writer or super talented at anything.. to do well here on hive. Just consistent effort and really just engage with hive and all the hivers.
I often see a particular post or hiver who does really well on a post (like over $100 in upvotes) and a few hivers seem to do that on a consistent basis, so I get down and think how I can never match that, but it turns out they post maybe once or twice a week and don't seem to do anything else on hive. and you are right, cuz now, after many months, I am seeing my own progress and it is more that they can do.. posting is kinda a one shot skill where u get a certain result, but having multiple things (stacking) will sooner or later, increase to more than any post can get.
Sorry for such a long comment, it hit a nerve of mine. :P
10years from now we should be all smiling as it will pay off. The effort people don't see as they just see the wallet, but every Hive earned is earned and is never easy.
