PolyCUB's Limited Release Model Combined With Governance and Long-Term Yield Optimization
POLYCUB has some truly fascinating tokenomics. We're still in the early days of seeing this experiment play out. With the airdrop to CUB holders still on-going, it's gonna be interesting to see where POLYCUB ends up over the coming months.
In this clip from the LeoFinance AMA, I give a framework for how I view POLYCUB in many ways: as a sort of limited-release NFT series for our community.
Most communities in the NFT space are releasing series after series: look no further than Splinterlands with all of their card expansions.
The same idea can be applied in many forms. All you need is a limited supply to create multiple series releases.
The key then, is driving value to each "expansion". With PolyCUB, our focus is on the near-term roadmap of features that we've spent the last 7 months developing. It's time to start final testing and rollouts for these features. Starting with Bonding and pHBD. From there, we'll start kicking into overdrive on things like xPOLYCUB Governance, Collateralized Lending, Variable Earn Rates, etc.
There are only 7M POLYCUB that will ever exist out there. At a price of $0.30, that is just a $2.1M market cap. We're in the early stages of a long-term evolution that will truly change the way we all view yield optimizers.

The advantage of it taking time is the fact that, each day, brings us closer to the first part of May.
At that time, in 3 weeks, the airdrop will be done and the emission rate will halve again.
PLUS we will have a few more of these items live it would seem.
So less selling pressure, more buying pressure added.

It is needed in a big way. Hopefully it can be targeted to people outside the Hive ecosystem. Many of them know how to get HBD, albeit not in decent numbers. Either way, we need new money coming in.
If that happens, the price of HIVE might never return to these levels again.

Its a terrorist act on American soil while some say its not real or Im a mental case. Many know its real. This is an ignored detrimental to humanity domestic and foreign threat. We are certainly in the early stages of a long-term evolution. I totally agree with this. New upcoming features will increase excitement and participation in PolyCUB. $0.3 is pretty low for POLYCUB, which will only have a 7m supply. I guess some investors don't realize this right now. We'll see how PolyCUB grows in the future. I am impatiently waiting for the new features to come.

It might be a good time to buy PolyCUB, but some are selling their airdrop earnings. Those who rush and sell cheap are lowering the price even more so I hope to buy more towards the end of this month. I think the airdrop will end on May 3rd.

I just keep adding so I am in the long term thinking camp. We are now to the point where things are slowing down. Yes the PC price keeps moving down. However, the buy and sell pressure are just about even.

The goal with the current model is that low supply = scarcity with an idea that the long-term model of PolyCUB’s new features will add radical utility.
In the long-run that utility will meet the scarcity then add insane demand to have more xPOLYCUB governance tokens. With that in place, the moon is the only path forward

I believe it will support it. @dalz just put out a post recently talking about the actual inflation that 20% HBD interest causes. It's something like 0.04% of HIVE inflation which is pretty wild.

At $0.3 POLYCUB is a rare gem to be purchased. I wish I can bag at least 1,000 for staking then wait when xPOLYCUB/POLYCUB ratio reaches 100, I get back my POLYCUBs and hopefully, they should be cost at least $2 each. That would mean +3,000% on my investment.
