Uncle Armando fell for his innocence [ENG-ESP]
Hello everyone, this anecdote is very peculiar and I always remember it. My uncle passed away many years ago. And one of the experiences and anecdotes that I have with him was a day of the Saints Innocents on December 28. My uncle was very funny and he always used to play pranks on us and make all kinds of jokes.
Hola a todos esta anécdota es muy peculiar y siempre la recuerdo. Mi tío hoy en día ya falleció hace muchos años. Y una de las vivencias y anécdotas que tengo con él fue un día de los Santos Inocentes un 28 de diciembre. Mi tío era muy echador de broma y siempre solía hacernos travesuras y cualquier tipo de ocurrencia.
That twenty-eighth of December I remember that as usual my uncle visited us every day and that day I had a big surprise for him. He did not remember that it was the day of the Holy Innocents. He spent the whole day at home, I remember that he made many jokes and we laughed a lot, my sisters and I enjoyed a lot with my uncle because of his jokes and there was no one who could make him fall, he always won, hahahaha.
Ese veintiocho de diciembre recuerdo que como de costumbre mi tío nos visitaba todos los días y ese día le tenía una gran sorpresa. El no se acordaba que era el día de los Santos Inocentes. Paso todo el día en casa me acuerdo que él echaba muchos chistes y reíamos demás, tanto mis hermanas y yo gozabamos un mundo con mi tío por sus ocurrencias y no había nadie que lo hiciera caer el siempre ganaba jajajaja.

My uncle was very happy and even sang hahahahahahahaha. Ese día ya para la tardecita le dije tío como la conversación esta muy buena y usted ha contado muchos chistes se ha ganado por su actuación una suculenta taza de café y como nos hemos reido demás se merece ser premiado. Mi tío se puso contentísimo hasta canto jajajajaajaja. Y yo pensaba mientras estaba en la cocina lo que le esperaba a mi tío Armando con la travesura y la caída por inocente que le iba hacer jajajaja.
I left the living room where my uncle was distracting and recreating those present. I went to the kitchen to prepare coffee for my uncle to make him a prank on April Fool's Day. I made him a coffee the way he likes it red and added spice and salt hahahahahaha. My sisters already knew what I was preparing to make my uncle Armando fall hahahaha. They laughed and my uncle believed what he said because he was a real clown.
Me retire de la sala donde mi tío estaba distrayendo y recreando a los presentes. Me fui a la cocina a prepararle el café a mi tío para hacerle la travesura sobre el día de los Santos Inocentes. Le prepare un café como a él le gusta tinto y le agregue picante y sal jajajajaja. Ya mis hermanas sabían lo que estaba preparando para hacer caer a mi tío Armando jajajaja. Ellas se reían y mi tío creía por lo que él decía porque era todo un payaso.
I brought my uncle a big cup of red coffee and he was happy. As he was very desperate to eat and drink coffee he drank it all in one sip. All of us who were in the living room with Uncle Armando started to tell him to drink it, hahahahahaha. And poor Uncle Armando drank the coffee in one shot, he didn't even taste it. And he came out screaming help help help what did these girls do to me. When I saw my uncle's mouth his lips were so swollen that they looked like a flower, hahahahahaha. We had to take him to the clinic because he couldn't stand the burning. And we told him that's what you get for being desperate, you have to try it first and you fell for being innocent. Dude today is the day of the Holy Innocents hahahahaha.
Le traje a mi tío una taza grande de café tinto y el estaba contento. Como el era muy desesperado para comer y tomar café todo lo tomaba de un solo sorbo. Todos los que estábamos en la sala con el tío Armando empezamos a decirle que lo tome que lo tome jajajajaja. Y el pobre tío Armando de un solo tiro se tomo el café ni siquiera lo probo. Y salió gritando auxilio auxilio que me hicieron estas muchachas. Cuando le ví la boca a mi tio tenia los labios tan hinchados que parecían una flor jajajajaja. Tuvimos que llevarlo a la clínica porque no aguantaba la quemazón. Y le dijimos eso te pasa por desesperado tienes que probar primero y caíste por inocente. Tio hoy es día de los Santos Inocentes jajajaja.
That swelling of my uncle's labia did not go to the next level. Little by little the swelling went down and the next day he was almost fine. He stayed at my mother's house where we took care of him. The uncle was so funny that instead of scolding us and me being the main author to prepare the coffee what he did was to laugh and he understood that it was a joke that we made hahahaha.
Esa hinchazón de los labios de mi tío no paso a mayores. Poco a poco se fue desinflamando y al otro día estaba casi bien. Se quedó en casa de mi madre allí lo atendimos. El tío era tan chistoso que en vez de regañarnos y yo ser la autora principal para preparar el café lo que hacía era reírse y entendió que fue una broma que le hicimos jajajaja.
