I wait for you
Source
In the old station of a forgotten time,
the wind whispers a longed-for song.
The shadows lengthen, the night settles,
and the clock stops, its hand is absent.
I wait for you in the echo of a train that doesn't arrive,
my heart palpitates, its beat unfolds.
The tracks, like dreams, are lost in the fog,
and in each sigh, hope is denied.
The lights flicker, they whisper stories,
of lost loves, of old memories.
Forgotten suitcases, distant faces,
echo in the breeze, their early echoes.
The flickering lantern, guardian of my longing,
watchful of my steps, of pain and consolation.
The moon looks sad, reflection of my sorrow,
and on this stage, loneliness reigns.
I wait for you in the silence, in each bitter note,
in the song of the wind that tears my being apart.
The hours are a river that drags my longing,
and in the empty station, my mourning is lost.
Good one using a sorrowful tone.
Hope is not lost as it brings healing, peace, and joy at the end rate.
Nice exposition.
Good to see and sound to hear.
Greetings.
