Today I want to talk about bank failures again, because here in this country everything collapses when they occur. I am included in a whatsapp group of an old friend, where exchanges are usually made through paypal, purchase operations of different merchandise, telephones, etc., and every day I see all the complaints, when it is reported that a particular bank made a charge for an amount that they did not consume, or that, for example, a deposit of an important transfer was rejected.

The most annoying thing is when they are weekends, because the transactions carried out on Saturdays or Sundays are usually made effective during business days, that is, if you transfer today, you will have the money available on Monday, and not immediately. I consider this as a bank failure. Of course they have these policies to earn more commissions and interest with the users' money, because that is their business.

Another important part to mention is that in this country, if an ATM makes a mistake and does not give you the money you have requested to withdraw but if it deducts it from your bank account, the process to correct this error sometimes lasts up to 3 months. and you have to go to the bank office to report what happened to you, sign some documents and wait for them to do an audit, and that process takes about 3 months, something quite serious if the person needs the money immediately to solve an emergency.

But so are bank failures, and their policies.

And this is my 5 minute write up for today on freewrite.

Happy Saturday and enjoy your weekend.
