Writing help

  • A free app: Grammarly. A lot of us are not native English speakers and I am finding it a helpful app. It will underline spelling and grammar mistakes. Just remember that is is not always right -especially if you use complex sentence structures. Here is the link

  • Remember The Most Dangerous Writing App. You set the time - 5 min - and start typing. Don’t stop!!! It will destroy what you wrote if you stop for more than 3 seconds - and backspace does not count as writing on the app. If you are prone to stop and think - this app forces you to keep going. You can make corrections after the 5 minutes are over.

  • A timer. Egg timer is a free tool you can use on your desktop to set a time. This is useful for our freewrites or if you want to work in blocks of time and then take a break. Here is the link

Good morning everyone and hope you all had a lovely weekend? Mine was great than to football. This topics today gave me a flash back of a an Indian movie I watched some years back.

It was about two blind couples which the wife got raped and because she is blind the offenders went Scot free and she had to commit suicide which got the husband angry and decided to take revenge on these who did that to his wife. I know you thinking how is this possible but I would like you all to watch the movie it's titled Kaabil and it was released 2017

The funniest part of the movie was the guy went scot free after he tool the revenge not because the police were weak or not capable of their job, the inspector in charge have the case knows that the person taking revenge is the guy but had to proof to arrest him.

It was a well planned cleaned through for the killed

There were cops' cars everywhere, one of the big politicians contesting for the next president had just been murdered about an hour ago.
The news spread like wildfire and the cops were sweeping the entire area to see if they could get a good lead to chase after the culprit but nothing was discovered, the press were on standby for updates about the incident.

The apartment was marked restricted, the police needed the slightest evidence. The culprit was perfect at what he or she does and he left no traces. The investigation went on for hours and the forensic team eventually came to inspect the place for any possible lead but it was futile.

It was all a wasted effort, they got nothing useful for the investigation at the crime scene. One of the officers noticed there was a camera attached to the TV which must have captured the incident.
They traced it and it happens to be a secret camera the honorable installed in the house without anyone knowing. The police were happy with the discovery and went to their mobile computer room to check what happened.

The storage device from the camera was attached to a system and it displayed the videos as thumbnails, the operator saw videos from other days but when he got to the day evil struck, the folder was empty.
The police were confused and had to start checking for another clue about the killer, it went on for days, and when the governor of that state got pissed at the security agency's incompetence, he demanded to see how far they have gone with the investigation.

He was surprised they had nothing to show for the incident, he asked why and the commissioner answered, "your excellency, we are trying and the reason why we have no lead so far is that the killer cleaned anything that could be traced to him, the killer cleaned it all thoroughly."
