From a younger age till now, I have made friends, stick and change friends.

It is wonderful while it lasts until a conscious or an unconscious change happens.

When it is conscious, it is because I chose to move on from that friendship because I needed something else. Also, some personal decisions for development and improvement that where not comfortable for such friendship to strive on. For instance, a friendship that vernacular is majorly used for communication and a personal decisions was made by one party to stop using vernacular, this would put some strain unless the other party is willing to adjust.

When it is unconscious, it is because of certain uncontrollable events like relocation, changing school, promotion to a new class that my friend could not make it into and so on.

There are many instances that makes friends stick and change.

I would say, a common expectation for human relationship is that change is constant.

Expect change and look forward to it.

True, it hurts badly most times though
I have had to make decisions to leave a friendship because, I didn’t see where we were headed, it hurt me to see them treat me as a bad person, but truly was I?
