"DAY 84
I had fun with yesterday's experiment, but I SECRETLY only shared HALF of it! This is the second section...
+++++++++++++
---Character: Fizzle Westenrod IV - Wealthy Moron
---A dream in the night of a scream on the phone and a terror more powerful than common sense. He melted from the fear.
---Apples cause zombiism
---FreeSkull
---'Where's the flashlight?' he said - the panic rising in his voice...
'I didn't pack a flashlight! Did you?" she yelled back. The stomping and growling outside the tent continued to circle their thin bubble of protection.
'Damn it... If we had a light we'd be fine,' he said.
'Could we pretend?' she asked.
---Always wanted to tell a story about a creepy hotel. What could be more bizarre than a termporary abode? New guests almost each day... WEIRD!
+++++++++++++
Thus we come to the end of another "forced writing experiment" entry. The only way to get whatever you're working on written is to WRITE IT!
Later!

"DAY 85
I've been making the ARTZ lately, but I'm also feeling that the currents are shifting. (The mood on TWEETERZ is hostile and unruly - and the universe feels on the verge of a new collapse.) Meanwhile, I'm being pulled towards text as a creative medium again (but oddly NOT away from images. A mixture of the two seems to be a happy place for me at the moment.) (If clever, one can lie both with words and without!)
I'm also unthrilled with sales lately, almost to the point where I'm thinking about flipping the universe off and just BLASTING my ARTZ to the heights of [value] madness. Why the SMURF not? I'd rather something not sell for 101 tezos than not sell for 1 tez...FUG IT! And by the way, it's not selling out if you don't expect anyone to buy!!!
Here's the funny thing, I enjoy the MAKING way more than the selling. Money is stupid. There are (it's true) things that I need, like food and electricity to play my music and maybe one or two other odds and endz, but that's about it. Mariah (my WIFE) and I have been watching videos on apocalypse farming lately, and Mariah and Frank (my older daughter) started working on the garden yesterday. (That's food handled) And I've also been pricing hand-crank / solar generator devices, so that maybe someday I won't need money even for electricity or food! (Neat! Fuck society!) I just want to be free...
I might be going to hard in this direction. Maybe I'm just in a bad mood. Who knows?
Anyway, I'm going to keep making my weird, bad artz, and I'll keep putting them up on the various platforms that I've been using so that people can ignore my work at their leisure. The artz will still accumulate in my "gallery" spaces, and who knows, maybe someday peeps will arrive in these virtual space and look at my wares and go, "Why not?" and buy a couple bits. Either way, I'll still keep going, doing my thing, and talking to non-human entities that visit me in my head! (We'll sing songs and draw pictures and pretend we're not tired and underwelmed with the world...) Got it? Yeah? We good? Sure...
LATER!

[Ballpoint pen on reclaimed cardboard with digital embellishments and color.] In a different life, I tried really hard and got lucky and had all the breaks and got super rich, and then I did a bunch of drugs and died of an overdose... "DAY 86
Had myself a semi-traumatic morning. I took notes (cuz of course I did) and made some artz about it (but you folks won't be able to see those here in the world of TYPING-ONLY... I'm pleased with this...) Here's a transcription of my field notes:
+++++++++++++
'Sitting in a waiting room. The HORROR... (Getting old isn't fun, but I suppose it's better than the alternative.)
Weird dreams last night. As is often the case, the setting was from my past (T----'s house in C----------), but a number of people were there that never appeared there IRL (in real life.) And there was something vaguely poltergeistish going on.
Yeah... Very strange...
'What could my brain be trying to tell me??? [Odd geometric doodle here]
'This could take up to two hours, according to the paperwork. Can I kill that much time with just a pad and pen?
Any other thoughts for now? Mariah wants to eat after this, if she's not too groggy... (Sounds okay to me.)'
+++++++++++++
Luckily, all went well, and Mariah and I did eat food before driving back home; (I know social media types go for the whole FOOD thing, so I'll comply: I had a black-bean burger...) THEN we took a nap, which was also good! Now, after dinner, I'm going to work on shoving my extremely expensive art into people's faces (and snicker to myself knowing that nobody is going to buy it, so I can secretly keep my punk-rock self happy by claiming that what I'm doing is the opposite of consumer culture! You can't sell out if nobody's buying!!!) LATER!

"DAY 87
I don't have to explain myself, but I frequently TRY TO. I would guess that these jaunts down INTENTIONALITY LANE are more for MY use than for other people's entertainment. When I write things out, this gives me a chance to determine if they make sense. Much of what I do is nonsensical, but that's not the point. The point is that writing IS thinking. Ideas and emotions and predictions and song snippets smash and swirl through my brain constantly, and (coupled with the noises from OUTSIDE my head) it can be difficult to stop and concentrate long enough to formulate any specific thought.
Writing, however, is thought CRYSTALIZED. The ideas have to be formed enough to put into words and the words have to be sculpted into proper syntactical units in order for anyone (even me) to understand the meaning. For instance, "a;lknsd f;oiawpeoi flasdfm ;alj" isn't WORDS. It's just my fingers striking random keys. No meaning there to be found (unless it's injected by the viewer. But putting together meaningful words in a readable order is difficult. It takes effort and thought and at least enough quiet to get the concepts out of the brain and onto the paper (or keyboard) or whatever...
I used to write a lot, but I don't anymore. Interestingly (for me), THIS "forced writing project" has lasted longer than any of my previous attempts. I'm not 100 percent certain why I've kept this going when at least three (probably four or five) other attempts have only lasted a couple of weeks. There must be something about this publication method that clicks with me, at least at the moment.
Anyway, that's today's thoughts. Maybe, if I can get my brain to function again, I'll try to work on more FICTION for a future entry... If there IS a future!!!
Later!
