I used to know this old hippie guy back in college... they called him "the possum" because he would always be playing dead.

He had a band, they weren't very good, but they had a great name, The Mother Smuckers. They were a real JAM band.

Opossums are the true renegades of the animal kingdom. Whenever someone tries to eat them, they fight back and oppose 'em.

Virginia opossums are the only subspecies of opossum that were able to survive the Virginia Tech massacre. They already knew how to play dead.

Know how to upgrade your status? Simply move to the States. Not only do you get a title upgrade from Possum to Opposum, you generally get better fed and are bigger in size

My grandma was from the South, so they did things a little different down there-such as the one time she made us opposum SOUP. I can still remember her asking us for seconds, "Mar' soup, Y'all?"
